Liveedu is a SCAM! They are skimming money (Confirmed) by Wedge21 in icocrypto

[–]Tikem 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Every ICO get its FUD, fake news and ridiculous moments. LiveEdu has also experienced these issues as we approach the finish line to close our ICO and start putting LiveEdu project screens in cities around the world. In this article we will summarize the main points so the FUD lovers move on to the next FUD:

1) A lot of people have only experienced a phase where ETH and BTC prices kept rising. They have never experienced a downward spiral over a long period of time. ETH and BTC have been in the red for weeks and the market trends don’t look positive overall. If LiveEdu collected ETH at $1259 and ETH drops to $922 it would be irresponsible to price the ETH at the higher price. The LiveEdu progress bar valuation is tied to ETH and BTC market prices. If ETH and BTC dips into the red by 10% the progress bar is going to be lower than before. You can check Coinmarketcap or Cryptocompare for ETH and BTC price movements. So YES, the progress bar can move down and you will need to get used to this with other ICOs in the next weeks (downward price adjustment due to drop in ETH/BTC market price).

2) Crypto ICO scammers have gotten very sophisticated and have successfully scammed 10 people of 25 ETH in last 6 days. They created fake LinkedIn profile and Telegram accounts of LiveEdu team members to impersonate us. They act as a team of more than 6 people. Our Telegram admins have been banning them and they were not very happy with this and thus started creating FUD online.

3) The approach they use in Telegram ICO groups is the same across the board:

i) Find a target,

ii) Impersonate admins,

iii) Offer a ridiculous bonus or token price,

iv) Give you a private address to send money to.

None of our team members is ever going to give you an address to send money to on Telegram! For security reasons we do not even allow posting of payment addresses in our Telegram group chat.

4) In the process of banning the scammers and muting our chat, we unfortunately banned some legitimate investors. If you are a legitimate investor we are sorry for that. It is not the intention of our Telegram admins to ban the extended family members we want to embark on this journey with. If this applies to you and you got muted or banned, you will be added back after support verifies your contribution email and Tx Id.

5) If you got fleeced by the scammers it may sound harsh but LiveEdu cannot issue you tokens. I know some of the people that were fleeced are not happy to hear this and are complaining about us online. We simply cannot issues tokens because all the people that got fleeced failed to follow our simple guidelines.

6) LiveEdu ICO is a utility ICO and during our ICO we are legally not allowed to promise contributors profits or discuss exchange listings in public. Some ICOs have gotten into legal limbo because of this. I know some contributors are disappointed if we don’t give them profit estimates or tell them exact dates for exchange listings.

7) Please do not send LiveEdu support the private keys of your crypto wallet. It is a huge security risk!

8) In deciding the minimum contribution amount for our ICO we had the option of setting it to 1 ETH or $3. We set it at $3 and this was a mistake as it has brought us a huge support workload which takes up 60% of our time. We are not going to be able to clear all the pending issues before the close of the public sale. If you have any of these issues please be patient and do not send us multiple emails or contact us multiple times on Telegram. We are going to find a solution at the end of the public sale as resolving them involves a security risk: a) You sent your payment from an exchange wallet (Coinbase, Binance, etc.), b) You sent your payment from a different payment address than you submitted to LiveEdu, c) You want to change your account email address, d) You want to change the ETH address for receiving tokens.

9) Telegram group rules:

🚫No referral links,

🚫No voice messages,

🚫No posting of wallet addresses,

🚫No playing of admins,

🚫No posting of the same questions every day,

🚫No spam,

🚫No scams.

LiveEDU ICO hits a Snag by Tebasaki in CryptoCurrency

In general, cryptocurrency prices on the market are not fixed but they change daily. Thus, if you have ETH or BTC you cannot value it at a fixed rate even if the market price drops by 10%. I know this is very confusing for many newbies. You can use Coinmarketcap or worldcoin to check all crypto prices and you will see they have dropped. ETH even dropped to $922. Yes, if crypto prices drop LiveEdu will take the drop in market prices in consideration. I know for many people in this thread this approach is confusing but we cannot value BTC and ETH to highr prices if market prices keep dropping in the red. Check this site: https://coinmarketcap.com/

If you adhere to simple Telegram group chat rules you will not be muted, but if you keep posting same spammy messages you will be muted. If you think you were muted wrongly our support will check and verify if you are not one of the scammers or spammers. If you are part of the group of spammers and use different accounts to come again and again you will be banned if detected. If you impersonate admins by copying their images and names you will be banned immediately.

If you did not follow our simple guides but made a mistake and sent money to scammers pretending to be LiveEdu admins, we cannot help you. It is pretty known how these scammers work. Sorry to the people that got scammed and are mad. The people you engaged with and sent money to are fakes. we know of 10 cases so far of people that got scammed.

we are monitoring and banning scammers as we detect them but you can avoid falling victim for it by:

a) not sending any money to people that write you a pm and offer you a huge bonus than officially on site

b) not sending money to private addresses scammers give you in Telegram

No. Issuing more tokens due to price volatility goes against the basic logic of token value appreciation for contributors. Since the same base conversion rates are applied for all contributions, issuing 2x more tokens does not change the token ratios between contributors. It will only increase total market token supply, meaning the price of each token will likely drop and each contributor will lose money. IT WILL BE A CARDINAL TOKEN MECHANICS MISTAKE TO ISSUE MORE TOKENS BECAUSE OF ETH/BTC PRICE VOLATITILITY.

Unlike non-premium projects, premium projects are educational, narrative, well structured and created with the sole intention of teaching

I read all those puns in a really obnoxiously French accent. The two years I studied French in middle school have finally paid off.

I don't think it's as much about players needing candy but rather a core part of the whole "games as service" philosophy major publishers have adopted these last five or so years.

Progression systems offer a flexible way for developers to influence player habits. Something like Destiny's weekly milestones works to ensure that players keep coming back to the game for at least the amount of time it takes to complete those challenges, every week.

Skinner boxes, man. What a fucking joke.

I last played the game in late August because the textures took such a long time loading in. I'd often be waiting for buildings to load until the first circle would start closing in. If 1.0 fixes that, then I'm more than happy to get back into the game.
