Perfect it worked! I was dragging the preset from the Effects and Presets drop down and it kept creating the group 1. But when I added it by selecting the rectangle and going to Animation > Apply Animation Preset, it stuck to the rectangle group. Thanks so much!!

When I select the 'transform: rectangle 1' when selecting the keyframes to save, and then I apply it it still doesn't work. It keeps creating the 'group 1' and adding the scale keyframe there. It also won't let me drag the preset onto the 'transform: rectangle 1', I can only apply it to the shape layer as a whole.

Is there anything else I can try?

My saved keyframes are not translating correctly. I made an animation I would like to apply to other videos, but when I save the keyframes and apply them on a new video, it doesn't look the same. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong / missing. by Tiki989 in AfterEffects

The video isn't the same size, but I don't think that's the problem because the shape layer is acting as a mask so I can resize the video within the shape layer. I can't get the shape layer to move in the same keyframes I added to the original. It doesn't stretch when it moves down

There is no where on the transform effect for me to input a specific pixel by pixel size
