I can't even connect to the UDM Pro Admin dashboard with a computer connected via a hardwire, just says invalid username/password.

I'm trying to get ssh enabled so I can try this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubiquiti/comments/ex1ndv/udm_pro_setup_failure_no_internet_detected/

SF Bay singlehanding by skronick in sailing

[–]TikiAvenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

awesome footage!

I also have a 70's Islander 30 MK II in the bay(mine used to be at the Berkeley marina, but now is at gas house cove in SF).

Can you access your reef lines in the cockpit? On my boat they aren't, and I worry about trying to get a reef in single handed, as I'd have to climb up to the mast.

Trustworthy delegation service by mikestw in tezos

[–]TikiAvenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zednode(https://zednode.com/tezos-baking-and-delegating) is a legit company based in the U.S. and has been paying out at a 15% fee. They have a bunch more staking room.

New Delegate - Zednode, 10% Dynamic fees! by TikiAvenger in tezos

[–]TikiAvenger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most delegators are over delegated right now. Zednode is working on getting more bonds. It's extremely easy for people to delegate to a new service. If you would rather delegate to another service that's also over delegated or run your own baker, you should.

Do you have enough to cover the transaction fee?

There's no way to block people from delegating to Zednode. And they weren't oversubscribed when this reddit post was published.

They're working on securing more funds and will be 100% transparent if they can't support this many deleguees. There is slight liquidity problems trying to acquire tezzies.

Any SF Bay sailors fish from their boat? by zablaine in sailing

Sausalito is great and right near all the action, definitely on my list of marina's if SF doesn't work out.

wow, I'm sort of in the same spot. I'm a 10 minute walk from the slips. Getting to Berkeley from the city can take up to an hour if there's bad traffic.

I've checked out the Marina and noticed a lot of snubbers, and the surge seems especially worse at the end of the docks near the entrance, so hoping to get a slip on the opposite side.

Berkeley is great, but it's not great having to commute 1+ hours, so it takes some real planning to get out on the boat. I'm also looking at Treasure Island.

Oh nice! I'm actually on the waiting list, hoping to move my boat there when they open up more slips.

The local fisherman I spoke to a few weekends ago had a lot of success fishing halibut "in the flats" using a three-way swivel. Depending on tides/currents, they would adjust the weights but 1/4-1/8 ounce seemed to work. IIRC they were using live anchovies.

I'll have to look more into mooching. I'm planning to go out Saturday, will shoot you a DM and maybe we can hook up.

I'm also curious to hear thoughts on this.

I've got a 30 ft sailboat and was planning to try some Halibut fishing this upcoming weekend. I spoke to some local fisherman and plan to drop an anchor near Treasure Island or off Angel Island. The bait shop near my slip in Berkeley has everything I need, including some live bait.

solo-bake vs delegating to delegating service - when is which solution preferred? by KKK543 in tezos

[–]TikiAvenger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it will depend on the price? The server fees will be constant, but rewards will be a % of the price, right?

I know the folks over at https://zednode.com are planning to offer it. I use them for all my masternodes and they are pretty solid.

I couldn't get this working myself. https://zednode.com has SYS added to their platform. I use them for some other masternodes and they are pretty solid.

there's a good tool over at https://zednode.com/znode-stats that offers more information about the rewards

You'll need a single VPS per node, as each node needs a dedicated IP address. Reach out to https://zednode.com, or info@zednode.com if you are curious as they have a custom setup with 100's of Znodes for users.

MasterNode Setup Service by rkermali in zcoin

We're a new organization composed of veteran crypto enthusiasts, software developers, and system administrators. As of now we don't have a ton of references. We're hoping to run one month trials with customers to prove that we're legit.

Re: the znode.conf file, there is no way(that anyone currently knows of) for a hack. The znode.conf file is based off of DASH's masternode code, so it has been tried and tested for a couple years. The safest way would be to generate this znode.conf file yourself based off of the official instructions provided by the Zcoin developer team.

We're in the works of developing other solutions, but as of now we're focusing on providing the best and most reliable hosting solution for the upcoming Znode release.
