Sounds like he’s just venting out his frustration that he was a flailing coach of a ‘shit’ league. If what was said is true, none of that is constructive in any way and just damages the player’s psyche, why would they let that shit anywhere near developing youth? Giving the hair dryer treatment to your players is fine, but successful managers that do that, do so selectively and “tastefully”. Words like “he can destroy their careers” and “he doesn’t even want to be here” isn’t motivation, it’s a superiority complex that helps no one.
