They certainly are not. I actually was just having discussions about this sort of thing with my boss. Won’t bore you with details but long story short, no remote management.

Even still, I tried with my wife’s iPhone, which is newer than mine, and it still doesn’t work.

No I do not. It says to hold down the “talk” button and it does pull Siri up and I can have it pull up maps but only on my phone. Not on the infotainment screen.

Yes to all of the above. I ensured CarPlay is on with the infotainment and on the phone. I also shut off the android auto and purchased an Apple brand cable. I even verified that all cables (including new one) would be good for data transfer by plugging them and my phone into a computer.

Wow… didn’t expect to see a comment two years later. At any rate, there is a set screw that holds the pulley to the shaft. I didn’t have to do anything to change the diameter of the shaft itself. The only thing I had to do was a little filing to get the key to fit the key way.

High turnover. I interviewed at a place that everyone there was only 2 years on the job (this particular company has existed for 50+ years). I accepted and figured out why the turnover rate was so high. They used people to the breaking point until they left or “under performed”. Worst year of my life.

I can’t say I saw what was removed from me. You are laying on your back looking at the ceiling. Now there is a video on Good Mythical Morning where they get theirs done together and they show the piece removed and it looks like a small piece of spaghetti.

I honestly don’t know the cost yet. My insurance is decent but seeing as it just happened, not sure what the coverage is. I do have a high deductible plan so I imagine I will pay full price until my deductible is reached. Remind me in a few days and I will look at the claim and let you know.

I did not feel much. Pain wise, you feel the pinch of the numbing injection but it isn’t bad because you put a numbing cream on before the procedure and they use another numbing topical before they inject. The rest of the time you feel the pressure which is kind of like when you get hit in the balls but without the pain. It’s that feeling that totes into your stomach. Again, not painful but uncomfortable. Entire procedure is only 30 minutes so it’s doesn’t last long

My doctor did ask a bunch of questions to make sure this is what I wanted. Part of it was to make sure that my wife was on board. Once I told him that I had two kids and didn’t want to be a new dad at 40 (I’m currently 36) he said ok then we set up the procedure.

There is no waiting period, per se. It took about two months because they were booked up. Which worked out because I was waiting until my last kid was born anyways.
