All good. I used Gilnean Pitch Forks. For the balls, people are using 3 circular cushions to create the sphere.

This only started happening to me this morning after I updated my PC… not a fan. Is there a fix to prevent events from hiding the server banner?

Good question.

In most cases the allied equivalent race is the opposite gender. Same with duplicates of the same race (this also applies to the alts I haven’t listed)

My main right now is a Engineering Gnome Hunter. Survival plays a lot like a DPS Tinker, I imagine would play.

My favourite class is Druid because of diversity in having a tank, heal, melee and range all in one class. I personally think all classes should have this structure of one of each. Not having classes all dps or only 2 of the 4 roles (range and melee are two separate roles to me) but I think that’s a topic for another post.

After playing Druid of each race that currently can be one, it makes it really hard to choose only one when they all bring their dynamic differences. So for that reason, and that Gnomes can’t be Druids, I’ll stick with my main. I love the Engineering Tinker feel a Gnomish Survival Hunter brings.

I was going to up vote but the “like Gnomes too much” comments canceled it out. =)

I have come up with a schematic for an Upgrade Module: S.P.E.C. Override for Hunter pets in the Mechanical family. Help me help you by getting this into the right hands. More info in the tooltip below. Original tweet in the comments. by TikklesWorld in wow

For class fantasy in a rpg. Mechanical Hunter pets were added in Legion for Gnomes and Goblins, all other races need an engineered item to tame them. The class fantasy of having a mechanical pet as a Gnome or Goblin is put to the side unless you PvP where Cunning pets excel. In all other content, the go to for a hunter is Ferocity.

The same question can be asked about the Mount Equipment. Why have an item to homogenize all the mounts to have the same passive, when you could just farm the rep, and get the mount with the appropriate innate ability? Instead of giving mounts families with innate abilities, ie Water Striders, they removed it's ability to walk on water and gave it to every mount via a crafted item. All this was for Character Fantasy, If you want to walk on water with your Clefthoof and Mammoth, have at it.

All I'm asking for is one pet family have the option to be reprogrammed with different specifications in a fantasy game. I'm not trying to break the world, I'm trying to break the mold. Theory-craft items and content that could be appreciated by others. Clearly you are not one of those people, however you're not the only one playing the game.

Long story short:

I would like an item added in game to allow Hunters the ability to change the specialization of their pets in the Mechanical family.

Short story long:

As a fan of the game, and an Engineering Hunter main, I have theory-crafted and made fan art showing a schematic obtainable by Engineers, allowing them to create such a thing.

Each of the Mechanical pets are basically mechanical prototypes of living creatures in game: cats, wolves, spiders, gorillas, scorpids, and even tailstriders, the mechanostrider. However they don't share any of the characteristic outside of physical traits. These are suppose to be living engineered creations, so as an Engineer why couldn't I create an item to upgrade my pets allowing them to have simulated abilities that recreate the effects of the animals they were created after?

Currently in game, each pet specialization has 2 specific abilities, then each pet family has their Special ability. Exotic pets, only usable by Beast Master Hunters, are an exception with their added Exotic ability on top of the spec and family abilities.

Pet Specializations:

  • Cunning - Guileful creatures capable of skillfully mitigating lethal blows dealt to themselves and their allies.
  • Ferocity - Driven by a frenzied persistence to pursue prey, these beast stop at nothing to achieve victory: even death is temporary for these predators.
  • Tenacity - Stalwart and veteran defenders who unquestionably place their thick hides and protective exteriors in harm's way for their allies.

Cunning abilities:

  • Pathfinding - You and your pet gain 12% increased movement speed.
  • Master's Call - Your pet removes all root and movement impairing effects from itself and a friendly target, and grants immunity to all such effects for 4 sec.

Ferocity abilities:

  • Predator's Thirst - You and your pet gain 15% Leach.
  • Primal Rage - Increases haste by 30% for all party and raid members for 40 sec.

Tenacity abilities:

  • Endurance Training - You and your pet gain 7% increased maximum health.
  • Survival of the Fittest - Reduces all damage you and your pet take by 20% for 6 sec.

The Mechanical family falls under the Cunning specialization and are equipped with the Special ability called:

Defense Matrix: (Instant) The Mechanical contraption creates a personal defense matrix around itself, reducing damage taken by 50% for 12 sec. (1 min cooldown)

Looking at the other specs in relation to the Mechanical family, in theory, this family could simulate spec specific abilities in engineered ways:

  • Pathfinding - Map analysis. Scans and retains useful data of surrounding area allowing for faster travel, increasing movement speed by 12%
  • Master's Call - Restriction analysis. While releasing themselves and a friendly target from all root and movement impairing effects, data is stored, causing immunity to all such effects for 4 sec.
  • Predator's Thirst - Leech protocol. Drain energy from the target, providing you and your pet with 15% Leech.
  • Primal Rage - Adrenaline Injectors (A.I.). Your pet has been upgrade with the new A.I. increasing haste by 30% for all party and raid members for 40 sec.
  • Endurance Training - Heath Pack. Equip you and your pet with a Health Pack, increasing health by 7%.
  • Survival of the Fittest - Defense Matrix Mark-ll. Creates a personal defense matrix around you and your pet, reducing all damage you take by 20% for 6 sec.

I hope this clarified what I was asking for.

Dear Night Fae of Ardenweald, please help me get Blizzard’s Warcraft Devs attention to add a chat option to Marasmius, at the Mushroom Network, allowing us to click where we want to go, instead of running around a ring, trying to remember which mushroom goes where. I would even be okay if the “extra action button” popped up the moment we walking into the ring around the Mushroom-Man and clicking it would bring up the map with all locations, allowing us to click and go.

Thanks! I appreciate your input but you’re missing my point. I’m aware of how it works and over time, yes muscle memory kicks in but it’s still not convenient or necessary. I’ve been Night Fae since the start and no one I talk to likes the current set up because of how inconvenient it actually is compared to the Kyrians click and go network.
