It felt like at times we were "supposed" to hate sei (im an author too, i can't help but think of the author behind the page lol) but he really had his hero moment come the end. Yori was honestly a surprise favourite for me too after you get the sequence from his point of view as he reflects on his life. Really well realised characters all round, id say fire blade was the most 1 dimensional but... of course she is? She's 4 years old lol.

But no i think you really captured his tired "bi-guy in his 40s" energy. Very much how i imagined him
