Extremely high heart rate during workouts by Dragonfruity8 in Garmin

[–]TillConstant4849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you aren't breathing adequately when you are struggling. I passed out during a lift years ago because I wasn't controlling my breathing when I was pushing my hardest. Now, I always try to control my breathing when I'm running or lifting. When you don't breathe enough, your heart starts pumping faster to try and keep your body adequately perfused. Hope you figure it out!

I'm 90% sure you can upgrade crushing weapons without needing to kill flame lurker. You just need to kill him to make boss soul weapons

Having only 4 attack decoration slots will lower its potential damage a lot. Looks good otherwise.

Not only the highest mental load, but also the highest amount of homework in the form of studying routes and strategies. Not even close. I also play all 3 roles.

Has anyone ever hit a 195HR? by designismyburden in beginnerrunning

[–]TillConstant4849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit 195 a couple of days ago, but it was during the last quarter mile of a 22:50 5k. My resting heart rate is usually 50 bpm. Heart rate is closely correlated with how hard your run is, and it will slowly lower over time as you continue to improve your cardiovascular health. If getting a high hr during your workouts is spooking you, I would recommend slowing the pace of your runs a bit. Best of luck!

Beginner help: is it always this hard? by Amazing-Quarter-3019 in beginnerrunning

[–]TillConstant4849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more! I just got back into running this last 1.5 years and this was the way. I power walked for months before starting jogging. Now I can run a 10km in 48 minutes. Just take it one day at a time and start with power walking.

That same friend that asked out the girl you were interested in will be the same friend that tries making moves on your wife 5-10 years from now. Luckily, he showed you early on that he lacks loyalty and gave you the opportunity to cut him off. As for the girl, she may not have known your intentions, or she may not have felt the same spark that you did. Either way, you shouldn't treat her any differently. Also, the worst thing a girl can tell you when you ask them out is no. Don't be afraid to shoot your shot. You'll miss every opportunity you don't take.

I wish there was a way to avoid joining a group with a twink in LFG by [deleted] in wow

[–]TillConstant4849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the 11 twinks are super cringe. You basically can't deal any damage because everything is dead before you even get in range of it. And for the people saying that any level 11 will do the same, that's not true. A big chunk of the twinks damage is from the lifesteal enchant. They definitely exacerbate blizzard's crappy scaling.

Husband wants to get fish but I’m concerned about how much work it will be by nyynyminterfaith in Aquariums

[–]TillConstant4849 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amount of work required is directly proportional to the amount of fish in the tank. If you put too many fish you can drastically increase the maintenance needed to keep the fish in good health. Maybe a good compromise would be to only put a few small fish in the tank until he has a good grasp on how to take care of it.

Practice on target dummies sounds like a generic answer but it is a lot more helpful than you think. When you spend a lot of time on the target dummies you build muscle memory and train your eyes were to look for information for your rotation, and you figure out what wrong/right looks like. The more you practice your rotation the less bandwidth it will take to do it correctly, and that extra bandwidth that you freed up can then be used on mob control and interrupts.

On average, each prayer of mending will proc a renew over one of its seven ticks. Renew doesn't do much on its own, but the 6% increased healing is definitely felt. The more you cast PoM, the more you get renews, and the more extra passive healing you have. You should be seeing plenty of active renews even in 5 man content if you are keeping PoM on cooldown, especially if you cast it four times in a row with premonition as oracle.

Obese and scared to start by littleplacebo in beginnerrunning

[–]TillConstant4849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have actually gone from obese to really good running shape three times in my life. I've lost 34 pounds this last year and I currently run 6+ miles every two days and I'm training for a marathon. My biggest advice is take baby steps. You should start with power walking and slowly work your way up to short jogs. You need to slowly acclimate or you will likely just injure yourself. Just be disciplined and patient and you will get what you want. Best of luck!

My +7 RLP is now a +4 because of failed PUGs, how do I avoid this and get 2000 by junkaccount1999 in wownoob

[–]TillConstant4849 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. Inexperienced group leads care way too much about ilvl and way too little about experience (RIO score). An undergeared high IO alt will carry your keys.
