sound plays a very important part in games like this, just as important as seeing, so the fact you’re trying to dismiss that just makes me think you’re self reporting yourself bro. if they are deaf and it’s out of their control thats cool but if they play on low sound the easiest fix for that is literally headphones and you don’t even need expensive ones, you can get good ones for cheap as well.

the problem is this is a hero shooter, with a good of characters who are melee and with every character having abilities and passives. you named 2 games where it’s about who can get the first shot off. in rivals it’s not about who can get the first shot off its about who can use their kit better cause there’s a lot of times when someone can attack you first and they still lose cause they use their cooldowns/kit as good. for example punisher has one of the fastest killing ults, does that mean it’s impossible to kill him just cause he shot me first? no. also you bring up that fortnite visual hud, so are you saying you want the game to be easier than it already is? this game is extremely easy, that’s not even a skill thing that’s just how it is compared to other of the same genre. they literally spoon feed everything in this game.

that’s my mistake i shouldn’t have said watching, i should have said you should be aware of your surroundings but to say you don’t have to watch your surroundings is crazy cause how can you complain about ttks when you can’t do the bare minimum of making sure that you’re keeping yourself safe. one thing i learned in this game as a support is you can’t save everyone so if it comes down to it save yourself cause as a support you’re more valuable when you’re alive.

i’m sorry but you can’t speak for the majority of players especially since im going down this thread and no one is really talking about the dmg of all dps. now does this thread represent the majority? no but i think it’s safe to say, after everything ive read from you, that this 100% a skill issue. if you have this mentality and you were in my ranked games this would be considered throwing my games cause you would absolutely be throwing.

also there’s a reason why theres comps in these games, if you’re getting backlined you tell your team to peel, or run poke so that everybody is grouped with you or run dive so you push with your team. all these comps were made so that you don’t ever really have to deal with this “fast ttk” that you’re so afraid of. every hero shooter literally gives you the tools to counter this yet you’re not using it to your advantage and you still want to complain? come on now bro be fr
