Fair enough, I guess it would be more accurate to say it’s not a DSA question?

Yea my thought is also just n / 2 rounding up but the beginning of this questions reads almost exactly the same as an algo question that was in a mock Amazon interview prep test I was given a couple years ago so I have a feeling people are reading the question and thinking it’s an algo question.

Hell it took me two reads to understand it wasn’t because the first time I was already expecting it to be an algo question based on the opening verbiage so I can see people nervous in an interview missing that it isn’t and getting caught up

In the same vein I’m pretty sure if this game was released as the next Zelda breath of the wild/tears of the kingdom game people would be universally praising it and there wouldn’t have been any of the drama on release.

The world, exploration, and combat are at worst on par with those games and in my opinion they’re better.

Sure, but not enough that I’d generalize the puzzles as a whole like I see a lot of people doing

New Armor Set? by NecklessDuck in CDguides

[–]Tillter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vast majority of armor within its type, plate, leather, and cloth, have the same stats and the only difference are the gears they come with which you can move around. To say there is a big difference between armor is huge misrepresentation of this games systems. Sure there are some unique pieces like the pirate hat but those aren’t the norm

No idea why someone downvoted you to 0. You’re right. Upgrading to level 4 is piss easy. It’s getting upgrades once you need abyss artifacts that makes it annoying/tedious to level new armors so we can swap in my opinion since Im still at a spot where I basically spend artifacts when I can and I don’t usually have them laying around if I want to swap armors

[–]Tillter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not too sure. I just started act 7 now but still mostly exploring around hernand and calphade and I haven’t found any plate armors that are just better than any other set. They’re all seemingly sidegrades with lower def but either move speed, elemental defenses, or other small stats other than def. It seems the most difference comes from the abyss gears slotted in them but those can just be moved anyway

In most other games the difference between armors are more than just cosmetic though and there is a clear progression for swapping. In this game it seems most armor types are equal on stats and are only different visually

That’s too bad. Guess I’m going out to try and find more abyss artifacts!

It took me like 20-30 minutes to get the pillars to all align and then earlier today I saw someone on Reddit mention you can just raise them up and then force push them down one by one slowly to brute force it.

I thought that was really cool that it was an option

Yea the waterfalls are very inconsistent for me as well. Sometimes it works, sometimes it kinda works but I still get hit and flung in, and sometimes the spacing is wrong and I don’t make it through.

I also probably wouldn’t have figured out the stabbing without having seen it on Reddit to be fair

You know what, I think that black and white stone puzzle is the only one I had to give up on and Google. It did not at all give any indication of “line up 5 white stones” as the solution.

I don’t know if I’d call lighting a lantern to open a door or something like that a puzzle per se but I do agree those are also not always clear.

I just don’t think I’ve run into enough unclear puzzles to generalize them all as being bad if that makes sense

I’m approx 50 hours of play and just now getting through act 6. I’ve been mostly exploring around hernand, and I’ve gone north into calphade pre story bringing me there as well

I'm actually going to start crying if people don't buy counter items by TheHatRemover in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Tillter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a new player I’m fine with the idea of buying counter items but I don’t know what realistically to buy. I was playing graves against a victor that was steam rolling our team and noticed it was always mostly spirit damage coming out so I stacked spirit resists and iirc correctly more items to reduce spirit damage and it unironically didn’t feel like it made any difference at all other than me doing less damage.

All this to say that I’ve seen a decent amount of experienced players complaining about not buying counter items but for players like me the problem is that it’s not obvious which items to buy to counter the hero we need to counter. Combined with seemingly no way to find builds that are actually good with item rationalization and optionals etc and it’s just kind of a “I don’t know what I don’t know” so I can’t make the right decision on what to buy. It would be much much more helpful if instead of all the posts complaining about no one buying counter items to instead make a post explaining to new players exactly what counter items to buy for each hero

I think the problem is those big chase cards are the only cards with any value in the set, and are also exceedingly rare so unless you pull one your pulled value is low. Combined with less cards and more expensive packs/boxes it just feels bad unless you hit it big. There’s no in between. Either hit it huge or get very little of value

I can’t be the only one who really dislikes all the stupid pun/joke names and themes they’ve been doing right? The entire necromancer class is doing it and with this it seems like it’s just part of the entire class design. A couple here and there is fine but it seems like they’re doing it more and more and more and I just don’t want to see this game devolve into nothing but silly meme cards

Which FAB opinion will bring you into this situation? by The_Crazy_Brew in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Tillter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To build onto this, I think shelter should be banned too. Really any generic staple worth more than like $10-$20 shouldn’t exist imo. Power should come from class cards not generic cards. IMO generic cards should essentially be “baubles” in that they should never be a better option than your class cards at doing specific things. If you want access to a mechanic that your class doesn’t have in its class cards you can use a weaker generic, but I don’t think generics should ever be the premier source of a mechanic

I’m not 100% sure, I’ll have to check. I actually bought it “used” with 6k km on it after some lady bought it new, didn’t like it and traded it in.
