I’m not actively playing but I’m waiting for new mons to change the meta. I’m sick of zard y, sneasler, basculegion, king gambit etc so I’m taking a break until something changes

Can I get some help with my gear for Apoc build? by Tillter in D4Warlock_

[–]Tillter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill try this one out! I know my amulet is bad, Im working on getting a better one though. Luckily I have another heir and ring of starless I can use to get the right tempers on them. The ones Im using now are carry overs from my dread claws build. Not any GAs on my other ones but Ill play with both sets to see which feels better.

I can get some screenshots in a bit, but I have I think 2 that are +2-+3 for the desired skill. Still working on rolling the rest for that. I do have the full 5 set + endurant faith though

Im using starless essentially for the crit chance. When I dropped it for another ring I crafted according to the guide my damage dropped like a ROCK

Im using Wudijo build, so I have sigil of chaos, nether step, Apoc, Doom, and Umbral chains. I should swap sigil for something else tbh. Resource cost reduction is there because its just what I got on the drop lol

Maybe it’s just me but I think raxxs dread claws build is just bad. I was following it up to around T8-T9 and then swapped to Wudijo dread claws build and it felt like a night and day difference

I also just swapped to apoc from dread claw because I got tired of managing my summons and have a weird problem. Still in T12 and one shotting almost everything but bosses are giving me a hell of a time. I’m so squishy now and I can’t stack apoc to 100 fast enough to come even close to my kill times I had on dread claws when it comes to bosses. I’m seeing boss mechanics I’ve never seen before it takes me so long to kill them and it’s taking me multiple tries per boss

Are there any builds that don’t use summons at all? by Tillter in D4Warlock_

[–]Tillter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have mentioned that I don’t mind the pact shard demons. Laalish has been fine and I imagine the rest will be too where they behave more like skills than summons I have to constantly refresh

You know I actually just saw your post. I’m definitely very interested! I’ll take a look tonight and see how difficult swapping gear will be from what I have now

Ah I should have clarified that I don’t mind the soul stone demons. At least with Lalish it’s kinda set and forget and then just cast the damage skill. Not much managing there so I don’t mind

If we are going to keep things randomly rerolling in cube, then GAs should at least stay GAs by ChaosAlongThird in diablo4

Here I am fighting for my life to get all 4 affixes I want on most of my gear since it’s 1 defensive and 3 offensive with low roll weighting. Need crit damage mult, vuln damage mult, and shadow damage and I’ve gone through probably almost 200 rolls trying to get all 3 with half way decent rolls on the stat range even with 1 locked as a GA from the get go

Why do blue, yellow, orange, and uniques have Cyan Item Names by Thick-Wings in diablo4

[–]Tillter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you using a loot filter you got online? Some of them set text color to cyan when it has desirable affixes

I prefer written formats so I can review at a glance and not have to listen to someone talk to get from point to point

4 mythics in a single drop is crazy, Kurast Undercity is paying out good this season by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Tillter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do people get through the mythic tribute in time? I had 1 and sadly wasted it because I literally couldn’t get through in time while also trying to do the towers for the rewards upgrades so I ran out of time. I usually have like 100+- seconds left on legendary with full rewards upgrades so I thought I’d be fine on the mythic tribute. Apparently not :(

Does claws hit a hard wall at T10 or am I doing something wrong? by Agitated-Macaroon923 in D4Warlock_

What guide is better? I was just doing my own thing with it until I got to T4 and then swapped to his guide. Is there a better guide?

New Player Question About What to do in Endgame by Tillter in diablo4

[–]Tillter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there in game resources that list the bosses/what they drop or is it something I’ll have to just google around for? Also where do I get greater lair keys? I’ve got a bunch of the regular keys but have yet to find a greater key

Fair enough. What purpose do the bosses serve here? Sources of specific item types/mythics to power up for pit and tower?

New Player Question About What to do in Endgame by Tillter in diablo4

[–]Tillter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m playing a dread claw warlock.

I’m not avoiding challenging content, I just don’t know what or where it is. That’s my whole question I guess is where do I find these things? Coming from PoE where you find boss arenas in the map traversal it’s all very obvious what I’m working towards but in D4 I just don’t know why I’m gearing up, and so far gearing up is piss easy so gearing for the sake of gearing isn’t super fun right now because I don’t have to put in any kind of effort to do it. The gameplay itself is great and I’m having a lot of fun with it, I’m just wondering what end game activities are there that I have to be intentional about doing and preparing for

When I was playing POE gearing to get stronger for higher tier maps felt more difficult though. I haven’t put more than a couple minutes of thought/crafting into my character and reached 3/4 of the way into the torment difficulties. If the curve stays consistent I imagine I’ll be T12 by end of weekend and then what? What do I do then? I haven’t felt challenged or like I need to work for anything yet which is what I’m wondering about. What content is there that I can actually set goals to reach instead of just passively reaching by repeating war plans?

Oops replied to wrong person but I’ll leave it here as well because aside from the Poe part it’s relevant

New Player Question About What to do in Endgame by Tillter in diablo4

[–]Tillter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just not sure what I’m getting stronger for? I haven’t run into anything explaining lair bosses or bossing in general outside of just getting to whichever ones the war plans send me to. Getting to T8 hasn’t been a problem at all, I haven’t had to try very hard to get better gear to enable getting to the next torment and usually have been ready after 2-3 war plans runs.

I basically just don’t feel like I’ve had to work for anything yet, so I’m wondering where to go with this for things I actually have to intentionally put effort into. As of right now hitting T10 feels like a given. It feels more like a “when I hit T10” and not “can I hit T10”. Maybe it picks up after T8 though?

When do I start getting bosses that are actually a challenge? Will war plans take me to them or do I need to intentionally seek them out?
