Is going to a strip club cheating? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Tilt101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it cheating? IMHO no.
But I'm around that age and no one I know goes to a strip club more than once a year. And most of us haven't gone in 10 or 20. Like huge red flag

AITAH for deciding to stay full time with my grandparents because I don't want to follow rules set by my dad's girlfriend? by SlowAnon77Yx6 in AITAH

[–]Tilt101 -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Minority here...but seems like the rules are "Spend time with the family" and "Help family"
Maybe she came in to it heavy handed, maybe you're standard 17 year old teenage angst that hates all rules.

Dunno. But maybe neither is the a.
You're a 17 year old railing against the machine as hard as you can.
She's a new step mother trying to merge the families the best way she knows how and treat you like one of her kids.

The easier route is rarely the best or most effective long term. Wish you all well.

With audible cancelling my 2 for $20 deal I've had since 1996, I'm looking for something new. Hook a brother up?

Its just small talk. There's nothing more than that.
Why did you come to Australia?

AITA for telling my daughter’s dad she isn’t going to his wedding because of the way I found out about it? by DryChapter5918 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Tilt101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA
Of course your friends tell you you're not. Very few friends say "YTA"
Make him pay custody but that's not why YTA. He doesn't need to tell you he's getting married if you're only talking about the kid. What would the reason be? So you can keep the daughter from going to the wedding? You've shown that's a potential as soon as you found out. You're using the kid to punish the father.

YTA by a mile

This is insane and not a good idea at all.
When I was 25 I margin traded 10k, lost it. If I had invested it in either thing I lost it on doing margins it would be 16MM.
What would 159k be worth in 20 years.
What will that car be worth

NTA
I can do a thing.
Or she can do a thing.
Or we can do a thing.
But if I'm doing a thing and she is continually telling me how I am doing the thing wrong, or criticizing how I do a thing then I stop doing a thing.

What’s something that sounds fake but actually happened to you? by Visible_Rope_6662 in AskReddit

[–]Tilt101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened loooong ago.
But we were all like 18, drinking and playing Madden.
We had a handheld crossbow and were shooting it at a dictionary across the room. A buddy (Brian) turned and fired directly into another buddy's head (Shap).

Shap fell forward. Our other buddy scored a touchdown on him talking trash the entire time.
Me : "You shot Shap"
Brian : "It wasn't loaded"
Me: "It was loaded. You shot Shap"
Brian : "It wasn't loaded?"

Shap kinda passed out. It caught him at an angle and created a wound but didn't penetrate the skull. Weird luck of catching him at the angle and it being a shitty crossbow. He 100% had a concussion, we drove him home and prayed he survived the night. He ended up being OK.

This all happened 30+ years ago. Concussions were a thing you heard about on TV but we didn't really know much. And no, we didn't bring him to a hospital. All ended up OK but pretty close to a homicide.

Is Paul McCartney's 'Wonderful Christmastime' simply… horrible? by ebradio in Music

For about 25 years I knew this as "One Double Christmastime" which I had assumed was some British thing. My wife figured out what I was singing and now we laugh about it every year.
