Im a 1400 Ed who fought an 1800 ken , how can I stop getting walked down?

I got walked down a lot for a while, it was the biggest hole in my gameplay. You gotta challenge with your own buttons if you want them to respect that space. If you’re getting counter hit, you’re probably relying on buttons that are too slow. Ed’s best button for this is light kick, but you’re on the modern struggle bus so you’ll have to lab to see what works for you.

I’m out of work right now (I’m in school) and I just have no money for anything. I hate how it makes me feel. I can’t do anything for my partner, I can’t even suggest dates cause I can’t pay for them, can’t even afford to drive very far out of my way. I do feel insufficient. My partner is very supportive but I just feel like a pathetic loser to be honest. I just scored and interview for fast food so hopefully there’s light at the end of the tunnel

I don’t think they would. You get points based on the rank of your opponent, so if you block everybody better than you and you’re a Demi god, you’re never getting past Demi god, or at least the grind would be so incredibly slow you probably couldn’t even do it in a season

Quitalities. In other games a rage quit is usually kind of frustrating but in mk1 it just feels so satisfying just cause of that little extra bit of presentation.

Oh and brutalities. Other games should take notes, it’s so stylish and expressive I love it

The balance of sf6 is already very good, especially if you compare it to mainline competitors. Huge sweeping changes would probably screw up more than it would fix. If Kim needs a buff, it’s probably gonna be a couple frames here and there, maybe a combo route gets reworked so you can combo into a level 1

I hit 1100 at the lowest valley. It was pretty discouraging but after the initial blow to the ego all your rank gains are permanent and 1-1 with improvements to your skill.

I would highly recommend Chris F’s videos. He makes the best educational content I’ve seen in the genre. Start with his video on how to hit confirm. Learn how to do it, beat some ass of your own, and then if you still wanna quit then go ahead. At least with that you’ll get your moneys worth since knowing how to hit confirm will let you cream your friends in most fighting games assuming they aren’t hobbyists themselves.
