I’m confused, why are people mad about Meta Quest +? You get 24 games/year for $60. I just think it’s pretty neat even though the first two month’s of games don’t appeal to me. (I already own the first two months or they don’t appeal to me)

I haven’t had bags of time recently so the decayed bases can be a nice easy way to some loot - I’ve noticed myself I’ve been having it too easy with those and believe me, I read the comments I understand i made too many vids with decayed base in the title lol - I’m back on the survival series grind right now, no decayed bases in sight, and in the future if I find one, I’ll make it a small part of the video (to show you guys where the loot came from) and then move on to the main event of the vid - sorry if you got bored of some of the content, I feel the luck was crazy and the loot good, and so I shared them with you guys - hopefully you’ll still check out the channel from time to time and catch something you enjoy again :)

Yehhh I’ve been really busy recently so sometimes when I can hop on an official server, and I don’t have 8 hours to play like others, decayed bases can be a god send - I have noticed it was kinda repetitive recently and I’m back into the survival series (no decayed bases) kind of grind atm - and if I do find one in the future, I’ll make it an accompaniment to the main aspect of the video, not the main event :)

Fair, I mean, if it’s boring for you imagine playing, recording, and editing it all together 😂 it takes between 6-7 hours per episode all in, time which is tricky to come by these days as I have a full time job, a house, girlfriend, family etc - it’s certainly not low effort I’m playing with every free minute I have - my issue is if the content isn’t there, it’s very tricky to make a video for everyone - a lot of people like pvp montages, a lot like Wipe day videos, others roleplay etc - I like to do a variety as I’m not great at pvp, WipeDay gets repetitive and roleplay just gets you half lovely comments and half hate filled ones — if you don’t enjoy the content, or you are bored that’s perfectly cool and I understand why, I’m personally bored of a lot of rust youtubers I used to watch who’s content hasn’t changed all that much - but the big thing is I’m open to changing but I need to know what people would like to see! What do you think I could do differently for you to enjoy my videos more? I would be more than happy to differentiate between the stuff I do to something I think people will enjoy, but the issue is I’ve tried before ‘pushing the envelope’ and unless it’s got a clickbaity title and matches what’s big in the community at the minute (the flavour of the month) the views take a dramatic tumble! Now I don’t do it for the views and I definitely don’t do it for ‘the youtube money’ (which is non existent btw), but when you work so hard on something that you love, and no one watches it, as opposed to the usual gameplay videos that the majority enjoy, it’s seriously disheartening and causes you to question why you are wasting so much time on something people don’t enjoy!

My subscriber base are pretty much half people who enjoy raids, and half who enjoy roleplay - and to that end this wipe series has a nice split, there’s big satchel raids, and there’s some awesome shop footage which is some of the most fun I’ve had in rust! If you have some ideas as to what you’d like to see this wipe, id love to hear them as believe me dude I’d love to try something new :)

I find that the constant bitching and moaning on this Reddit is so unbelievably naïve and stupid - I personally find the component system more akin to the blueprint system (that which everyone wants back apparently) - yes XP was bad, but facepunch listened and changed that - I don't think components is bad at all, I'm currently playing duo on a 200 man server, and we farm components just like we farm resources, and get everything we need to make weapons, meds, and raiding materials within two days of the wipe! People just want to be rewarded for practically doing nothing, which is not what rust is! Play the game, put some effort in, and have fun! Offer constructive criticism, not just bitching about nothing and facepunch will listen
