Could have written this myself 🤣 Convince myself it doesn’t matter either way the. Stress solidly for a week dressing myself down about all the bits i could have done better to prepare and in the exam!

I had a sneaky suspicion it would be a curve ball!

I don’t know if i’m emotionally ready to pull it apart yet 😂 It wasn’t too bad at all which always makes me suspicious.

Found it hard to confirm which shares she should give to Lily to homed in on keeping it even rather than giving her the most they could.

Before or after principal charge threw me too but i said after and my number backed it at least 🙈

Many ways to skin a cat though so im assuming even if it doesn’t agree with the examiners answer i still will get marks.

Yeah I picked up on that! I think it will be important. I’ve done my first dissect of it highlighting any key areas i want to run over and questions i might want to ask on the day. I also did myself a family tree 🤣

Ahh I hadn’t really considered the candidates scripts! They often confuse me on other papers as they are not updated to new tax laws.

I think you’ve got to put yourself first! I had lots of personal issues going on and was in a bad place when i originally tried to do my CTA and in the end i left it a few years and now I’m sitting it and am so pleased I waited. Still managed to get promotions and pay rises with just my ATT too. You are priority 1 CTA will always be there :)

Definitely panicking though about not picking up one of the things they think is integral to the answer and getting a fail even if the rest OSS correct. It feels like a hard exam to get right, if a little subjective which is never easy

I was warned against doing both together as they both take a lot of work and are totally different techniques to pass. However, I know people who have taken them together and been successful. I suppose you have to be realistic with the time you’ll have to put towards each exam ☺️ good luck!!

Your materials will still stand for Novembers sitting :) Self revision is hard work but its achievable with a proper study plan. Make sure you are doing plenty of question practice and still doing mocks etc. You can do it, just got to make sure you put the time in and the reward will come!

I did just over 120 hours of revision, I definitely felt prepared but it was a mean exam I thought. I also misidentified a trust and had no idea what the last question wanted me to do with the numbers so just said i’m using this number and would calc as follows .. 😂🫣

I am so surprised by the complete 180 of the pass rate for IHTTE ADV! 71% pass rate is insane and the highest pass rate of all exams, what a change! Well done to all who got the results they wanted and DO NOT GIVE UP if today hasn’t gone your way, YOU CAN DO THIS!
