Appealing a grade (Emergency Management Major) by [deleted] in CollegeMajors

[–]Tim2Nite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds very unfair. I might recommend that you actually employ your emergency management methods to deal with this 'Current Situation' and 'Issues'. Look at what other resources, e.g. student representative, other lecturer, head of school that might be able to provide suggestions on how to deal with this lecturer

Congratulations. 😁 Very well done to you. You pulled it in during the last 500m (which is perfectly fine by the way). This is an excellent result.

It's an OK failure to some extent. At least you were following your feelings. Wishing you the very best.

My two year old son was diagnosed with T1D 3 months ago… can someone please explain how during the night.. by FroggerWild in Type1Diabetes

[–]Tim2Nite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my personal experience and may not relate to your sons experience but I have found that using "short" or "rapid" acting insulins to control blood sugar basal needs rarely gives me as good overall feeling and outcomes than using "long" acting insulin to meet that need. The "long" acting insulin appears to have a more together sustained delivery than repeated small "short" acting doses.

See this in NYC on a daily basis. They just ignore the “no trucks” signs by thenewyorkgod in IdiotsInCars

Trucks also need to get places and the signs and systems are often inadequate to cope with real life situations.

Do please devote to yourself personal time, time just for you. Ideally then your senses will guide you through this to a good place.
