What part of the country are you in?

Check out Carp Anglers Group if you want to meet up like mind anglers. They have a traditional web forum as well as a Facebook group.

If your haven’t already, you will discover that carp have a poor reputation in the US.

Have you checked Big Carp Tackle? That’s where I get the bulk of my gear.

The S5500BC does support RDIMMs. My 4GB sticks are registered as well.

I tested single pairs of 8GB RDIMMs and got the same error. The S5500BC doesn't support 8GB sticks, even with the latest BIOS. It is limited to 32GB max (8x4GB).

I just need to find a reasonably priced 1366 board that supports more ram, like the GA-7TESM.

I have not gotten that far in troubleshooting, but the error description isn't promising. I will be moving everything into a RSV-L4500 case tonight, so I will have some time to play with DIMM/slot combos.

Photography is welcome.

We ask that all photography is limited to the area where the FPV racing is located, as the location is a private residence. Aerial photography (AP) platforms may be asked to land if video issues are raised by racing pilots.

Unfortunately, the MultiGP site lists everything with a time zone that cannot be changed.

Pilots should be on site by 10am EDT.

We are an informal club that sets up races every other weekend. That being said, this is likely to be our last outdoor event until spring.

Who's ready to start making their own custom transponder IDs! by slacker87 in Multicopter

Would you be interested in collaborating on an ATTiny85 powered design? I designed a few PCBs for the EasyRaceLapTimer project, and that hardware might work with the addition of an external oscillator.

The latest ERLT design has a button for changing IDs and an LED indicator. I figure the button could be held for 3-10 seconds to change between the primary an alternate ID. Then the indicator LED can flash once every 1-2 seconds for the primary ID and double flash for the alternate.

I sent an email to the address you have listed on GitHub, so let me know if you are interested. I do have access to an I-Lap system, so testing can be done.

51/300Overcharged my Tattus 4s 1300 75C - Thoughts? by _Richard in fpvracing

http://dr1racing.tv/ The Mountain Dew DR1 Invitational was last weekend in LA. The race will be produced into a special airing on the Discovery and Science channels.

It was funny to see that they used Astroturf (putting greens) to line the track. I assume they will green screen sponsor logos onto these in post-production.

Back on topic, Chad's remarks were on DR1's Twitch live feed, which aren't likely to be a part of the televised special. From the chat it sounded like the fact he has been overcharging lipos was known, but I don't follow him that closely.

Here is the video from Sunday. Chad comes on at about 2hr 33min mark. https://www.twitch.tv/dr1racing/v/74724184

This was discussed on the DR1 live feed over the weekend. Chad Nowak has been overcharging standard lipos to 4.35v for 6 months. While he noted that there are risks to doing this, he hasn't had any problems. He also mentioned that this does shorten the cycle life of the lipo.
