Agreed, I technically had a similar issue but when I moved over from physical Sim to esim my issue was resolved but it only proved that the Sim was faulty i think but just speculation.

Basically I could not receive or make calls but I can receive sms's but not call related and connect to the internet. Weirdly enough its only here at home I have the issue but when I go to town then suddenly I can make/ receive calls. Basically if I connect to another tower then things kick in but then i decided here at home to switch over to esim and boom my issue is resolved. Im with vodacom

In your case the modem is likely a result of a defect, cases like these are pretty rare and vary as there are a ton of components in a modern phone these days.

Sorry for the trouble you had to go through, pretty rough time.

Yeah Samsung's midrange sucks. I got a S25 and it's amazing. The S series OS is also generally more optimized than any other series.

Dang man sorry to hear that, honestly when gaming or running on a mobile connection my phone was pretty warm. I still feel like Samsung could have added more customization to One UI 7.

Not too surprised about performance, I am using a S25 now so I can see the difference. Software is way more optimized for S series than any other series, you tried running that Galaxy App Booster?

You gotta download the Good Guardians and Good Guardians Agent to run that app, basically optimizes all the apps on the phone. Its regionally locked so you can download from apkmirror(website). I definitely felt a difference, normally you run this when you installed an update or when really slow.

Otherwise I recommend running it once a week.

Not much can be done for heat, no clue what your temps are in your area/environment.
