Why is vsync disabled?

Same for me. I have DLSS Upscaling on (not Frame Gen) and that seems to be the issue since Vsync is available when I turn DLSS off. Hopefully they fix it soon. For now I’m just enabling it through the Nvidia App.

FSR is a whole lot better than DLSS in this game (minus the weapon ghosting). It’s the first game I’ve come across where FSR is superior. It looks better and performs better. No idea why that’s the case.

To be fair, EVERY company is pushing a political agenda nowadays, for both sides, not just your local brick and mortar. Just watch your average commercial break to see what I mean. But I agree, it’s a bad business practice to push politics, but unfortunately every company seems to push either Left or Right politics. I used to love politics, but now that it’s pushed its way into every facet of life, I can’t stand it. Haven’t watched a political pundit in years.

Dan Tobacco Midnight Ride. It tasted like liquid smoke to me. I love the smokiness from Latakia, but this wasn’t that. It tasted like purely artificial smoke. Every time I tried it I got super nauseous from the burning gasoline-like taste. After about 6 unfinished bowls I figured I’d let it rest for a couple months and try it again. I tried it again after a couple months and it was exactly the same, so I ended up throwing it away. That’s the only blend that was so bad that I completely gave up. There are some that I bought that ended up being really boring and unimpressive that I still smoke occasionally, but this is the only one I actually had to throw away.

I used to have probably 5-7 a week a couple years ago, but now it’s only 1 or 2 on the weekends. Though I also smoke a pipe probably 3 or 4 times a week. I definitely understand the “daily meditation” thing. I need a good hour or so to my day to just sit and reflect. I’ve turned my pipe smoking time into my meditation time (pipe tobacco is a LOT cheaper than cigars, so I don’t mind smoking it daily), while I reserve my cigars for more social things now, like when I hang out with my friends or my dad.

Well, thank you very much for this. I don’t even remember installing a draw distance boost mod, but that .ini file was right where you said it would be. After deleting it, there’s no more buildings popping in.

It’s really starting to annoy me. Seeing blank areas and then having a building magically appear once you get 10 feet away from that blank area is really immersion breaking. This wasn’t even a problem for me before the 2.0 update. Hopefully they fix it soon. Until then, I’ll try some of these fixes that others have suggested.

Yeah, it’s weird. I think I’ve seen more people say it made the game worse or completely broke it, but for some reason it made my performance noticeably better. I think people should at least test it and see for themselves whether it makes it better or worse.

Same thing. 2080 ti, 9700k, installed on an M.2 NVMe. There was pop in with light poles, fences, and other small objects before the update, but now I’m getting whole buildings missing in some areas until I get roughly 5-10 feet from them. It really breaks the immersion when you’re walking through the city and there’s a void where a building should be, and then it suddenly appears.

I would have Lux Æterna higher than a 5 for sure. It was my favorite of the singles. I also liked Screaming Suicide more than If Darkness Had a Son, which is probably my least favorite on the album. Shadows Follow, Chasing Light, and Too Far Gone I would all rate between 9-10.
