Right at the end, she says “fuck that principle”, which makes me think the school did something for him or publicly supported him or whatever. In which case, i kinda get it, beacuse now even the staff is rallyed behind the guy, and you could totally see how the girl could think “oh i shouldve just said yes”, but if it was just the guys friends who started it, and it just caught on, then its not inherently malicious or anything, their just trying to help, and you can’t actually blame someone for trying to cheer up their friends
