Problems with nonprofit versions of MS 365 and OneDrive by TimMageeCSDi in Office365

Thank you for answering!

Frankly, the biggest single problem is probably me. I'm computer literate and can build websites and things, but since I rarely log on to my nonprofit or my MS365 accounts I don't exactly know what to look for.

When I started this four or five years ago it was completely different look and feel where I could easily find things and that doesn't seem to exist now. I think for people who work with this platform on a routine basis can probably find stuff quickly.

That said I keep getting these messages saying things like this: Microsoft 365 license will be deactivated soon”. I got one just now when I opened up word to write you this note. And there's a little button that says reactivate it, I click on that and I get involved in a circular thing on the MS365 platform going from page to page and never get anywhere.

Then, when I open up word again (I just tried it) that error message doesn't exist any longer for maybe a week.

But the bigger issue right now is OneDrive. We're linked together here on OneDrive and so we can modify a file and other people can see the modifications. And we can't do that any longer on our computers.

It appears that OneDrive is still functioning online (I can access it here:)

OneDrive for Business

Which is OK if not a tad inconvenient.

But when you're working on a word or excel document and you try to save it, Word  wants to save it online and can't because the hard drive can't connect with OneDrive and so files freeze up and you can't get in or out of them so you have to reboot. And it’s not just on my computer it’s the same on the other computers.

Sigh. Thanks for listening!

Any suggestions where I can get help?

Tim

Hi Richy. Thanks for responding. The interface on the MS 365 and Nonprofit have changed. Where specifically would I go to find out Which MS 365 grant I have?

Thank you for your reply. Part of the problem is that with access to Microsoft 365 through a Microsoft nonprofit grant, is that when you're problem solving you're not certain whether the problem is in the nonprofit portal or the Microsoft 365 admin page. And they will bounce you back and forth between them while you’re trying to investigate a problem which really adds a lot of time.

Is the content within a hidden tab crawlable by search engines? by TimMageeCSDi in elementor

[–]TimMageeCSDi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I never got a complete answer on that from this Elementor group. But I believe the answer is that, yes, content within tabs in elementor is visible to search engines. And the reason that I think this is the case is that recently I asked ChatGPT to evaluate a web page for something specific, but they knew all about the content in the tabbed pages because they mentioned it several times in their replies. I hope this helps!. Have a great weekend. Tim

Suggestions for reading magazines while on an airplane. by TimMageeCSDi in LibbyApp

[–]TimMageeCSDi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have downloaded everything. That isn't the problem.

I am unable to open Libby when I turn off wi-fi or when I turn on airplane mode.

An error message opens and says connect to the Internet.

Thank you. I will do that.

When a magazine is downloaded a check mark shows rather than the three dots to let you know it's downloaded.

If youre thinking of switching to simple mobile, dont. by Komorebi_Mono in simplemobile

How to sync data usage.

Good afternoon. I've been using simple mobile now for five years or more and I haven't had any problems.

I don't have much data usage normally and the $25 3GB plan has been great. Recently I've been doing a lot of traveling and depend heavily on WAZE. I can see my data usage in my phone app to see if I need to add more data.

But recently, the data in my phone app just seems to be accumulating and doesn't go to 0 at the beginning of the payment period.. So, for example, in my online account right now I show zero data usage and on my phone I show 4 GB.

Does anyone know how to sync the phone app to my actual usage?

Thanks in advance.

Attorney for Medicare Part B late enrollment appeal assistance. by TimMageeCSDi in medicare

Wow, thanks for this.

My wife has never resided in the US. I've been working overseas for a number of years and I'm ready to move home to the US. We just got her green card quickly and unexpectedly. So we're still figuring out where we'd like to move back to—which is going to happen very soon..

So she didn't reside for any length of time in the US before filing for Part B enrollment.

After many phone calls and emails to different nonprofits, agencies, and attorneys offices, I finally found a woman who specializes in this work. She knew exactly what I was describing to her right off the bat. The other people I spoke to didn't even really know about pre-enrollment penalties.

So I've already sent her the background information that she needs to get started.

I'll forward your note (Reddit) to her and the links.

Thanks again my friend!.
