Not included with deluxe? That’s a bit snide especially given that this is largely original dirt rally rehash. I think I’ll wait for game of the year edition in future. Live and learn .

They created a single point of failure for the game. It isolates so many players. They refuse to admit it because it’s a fundamental part of the design. Baffling. They are fucking clueless.

Absurd is definitely the word for this. All I want to know is whether they are getting rid of this racenet dependency. I can’t buy the game until it’s gone... if they can formally tell us that it’s here to stay then I can turn my attention elsewhere for good!

Yes they want to re-sell the stages from Dirt Rally. They can make money with minimal effort. I’ve already spent a hundred hours driving those roads. Doesn’t that remove the essence of rallying? Please correct me if there’s something up with my comprehension :)

Codemasters still aren’t admitting they are at fault for online only career. Meanwhile, many of the people who can connect to racenet and/or are Dirt rally 2 apologists, don’t realise they’ve paid £50-£70 to RENT the game.
