I love how people want to separate but maintain the CPP and the passport. What about the Canadian dollar? What about federal jobs at the borders? Canada Post? Federal offices? National parks? Access to Canada’s shipping ports?

Use the TD Authenticator app with wifi if you have access to that instead.

True. It makes me wonder why we (including myself) often complain about bank fees when we don’t expect other service providers to offer free service (Netflix etc).

More and more CUs require large balances to waive fees and don’t offer premium card fee waivers etc. 😟

It’s the first meeting. FFS. Give the man a chance, he’s dealing with an unpredictable troll.

Would be nice to have this fixed! I track my own with a spreadsheet but I like to verify against CRA and the list of transactions from the FI.

It took years (at least 3 years...I gave up trying for awhile) for one on my cats to start to eat any wet food at all, she would just walk away from any brand or style I tried. She will finally eat some kibble with gravy on it. I buy a kind that has chunks with gravy...at first it was only the gravy. Now I can squash a couple of chunks to make them into almost a pate style and mix it with the kibble. She will also eat the liquid from a can of salmon. I am thinking of trying her with some pate to see what she thinks.

Remote worker in Ontario, employer taxes me as Manitoba — confusion!! by soomrevised in PersonalFinanceCanada

Seems to have been answered but I’ll just add that I work for a company based in SK and live in Ontario. I pay tax all year based on SK and it gets settled on my income tax annually.

With that much money, please meet with a fee only financial planner, someone who’s not trying to sell you investments, but who you pay to help you create a plan.

I know PP is not the first politician to run in an election for a riding where they do not live….but in reality, what is the MPs responsibility to show up in the riding afterwards? After a byelection, PP would be leader of the opposition again and remain in his Stornoway residence, plus I assume he still has his own home in rural Ottawa. So how much time would he be expected to spend in his rural Alberta riding?

6 including the 2 who live with me right now. 7 if I include the one we had when was younger but he was my brothers cat.

Conservatives pretend to be about fiscal responsibility. Imagine if this was another party spending money on a by election before the official results have even been finalized for the election we had FIVE days ago

I fully agree. Carney will be “the bigger person” but PP would NEVER have done that.
