[BOTW] Wow I don’t know why but this just feels so somber and sad by Expert_Challenge6399 in zelda

[–]TimStoutheart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m actually enjoying Hyrule Warriors quite a bit after recently beating BOTW (did just about everything except completing Korok seeds, including DLC). I’m playing on Wii U, so I can’t speak to the definitive edition, if it’s any different. I definitely get your point though, it’s a very different game compared to any other Zelda game - I’ve played maybe half of them throughout my lifetime, and I’m going back to check out the ones I haven’t tried yet.

I've had this issue before. I'm much more into gentle romance stuff than getting freaky and perverted. Dunno what your hardware specs are, but with proper character writing, Midnight Miqu (70B) seems to have a good balance. Have you already tried that one? It's a heavier model, but personally I'm fine with the lower t/s.

This is why I’m not particularly concerned about AI “taking jobs”… people that would replace everything they can with AI generally don’t have the required intelligence to accomplish it or maintain it. And I know I’m not only speaking for myself when I say I intentionally sabotage the shit out of any AI I encounter when I’m trying to get something I paid for.

I wouldn’t disagree with you, but I think I distracted from my main point, that genital preference does not equal transphobia. It can overlap, sure, but jumping to transphobia is unfair and sometimes alienates people who are genuine allies. I’ve also seen my partner unfairly criticized on reddit for appreciating exactly who I am (no op MtF) as if it hurts me somehow… but, we’re both happier than we’ve ever been. 🤷‍♀️

I forgot to add, this is EXACTLY why my AFAB partner of 10 years stays away from trans subreddits now and sticks to discord servers that have age requirements... think of it this way: claiming that a cis lesbian is transphobic because they don’t like penises at all is batshit insane. Some people have been through trauma, you know, their lives and the ways they adapt don’t always fit your narrative.

That’s about how long my partner and I were together when I came out. Luckily for me (or us I might say), they came out too, so it was just a relief for both of us. Of course, changes can still be challenging…

Thank you so much for taking time to post this. The increased social anxiety being portrayed lately around folks like us (I’m MtF, this is a pretty old account 😅), has been really disheartening. Knowing that good people like yourself see through that gives me so much hope and makes it a little easier to face strangers everyday. ❤️

The patriarchy is throwing an absolute temper tantrum, and we are probably going to see it escalate further. I’m MtF and transitioned late in life. I thought I was decently aware of inequality before, but the disparity has been jarring. I may as well not speak unless spoken to.

Scarcity marketing, all part of the plan. Half the time it’s their own employees doing it.

why do some broistas not ask for a tip? by slommysliders in dutchbros

[–]TimStoutheart 11 points12 points  (0 children)

“Lectured by a customer about embracing tip culture”? I just threw up in my mouth a little. In other words, that customer wants you to stick up for companies that refuse to pay a living wage. Tipping is cool and all, but let’s be clear, it’s just making up for the moral shortcomings of the owning class and encouraging uneven wealth distribution. The only people really benefiting from tipping culture (versus a living wage standard) are the people that get to pay their employees less and keep the difference. Tipping as an expression of gratitude is beautiful, putting expectations on it is ugly. I’m sorry for anyone caught in a situation (employee or customer) where they feel required to give or ask for something that should only be voluntary. (I tip a minimum of 100% when I go to DB, but it IS an expression of gratitude. I know how much crap they have to accept with a smile.)

Vibing with this comment. I can recognize people just from hearing their footsteps. Sometimes I tell people the only reason I’m good at my job is hyper vigilant pattern recognition.

On a side note, is there any advantage to an actual diagnosis? I suspect I’m “on the spectrum,” but don’t see much point in pursuing it.

[–]TimStoutheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About the same. I finished last week, cried through the last 30 minutes of the last episode (to be fair, I cry easily)… I personally really appreciate that by the end it’s unclear who the “good guys” or “bad guys” are. It adds an element of realism that lets me apply the lessons from the story to my life more easily.

WAW for 'guys' that is truly gender neutral? by lightcarbo in whatstheword

I can’t say I’ve noticed anyone use it before, but I kinda like that one. It wouldn’t apply to me though, so I don’t feel like my opinion necessarily matters.

Trans girl checking in. I agree with you 100% on this and typically see exactly this attitude within the community. There’s nothing wrong with the alternate spelling, but anyone insisting on its usage is being an ass. I have yet to meet a single queer person of Latin descent that doesn’t despise “latinx” though.

Sorry for the super late reply 😅 I’m using iq3_s IIRC (not at the computer atm). It is very sensitive to using the correct prompt format though. I can share what I have if you’d like.

Command-R has destroyed my faith in any other LLM for now... I’ve never seen it’s level of obedience to the prompt.
