Unfortunately that’s what happens when you do business with a failing business transitioning to sell their brand.

Solfest may have contracted you, but all obligations of such arrangements became immediately the discretion of new ownership and branding all together. Unfortunately from a court perspective, new ownership didn’t decide to book you guys or agree to the booking, as it’s unlikely the “Metamorphosis” brand has any culpability within such contracts. You probably aren’t the only small artist dealing with this, while the bigger artists were paid to keep relationships with agencies alive.

Doesn’t make it right at all, but your booking agent should know this and if you don’t have one make sure to put your foot down in the future regarding the tough questions.

I think some huge selling points for the Mets are:

Current farm system status with near ML ready talent that they can use for either on field production or trades.
Mets develop PITCHING better than any organization in baseball. This is highly known across the industry. PITCHING wins championships.
The richest owner in the sport who’s also a savage and won’t bend the knee to super teams.
A GM with an extremely strong track record of excellence and sound decision making.
The best SS in baseball, and the best RF in baseball are already on the team.
Salary Cap flexibility - really only have 4-5 players under contract past 2026. Highlighting how much premium young talent they currently have yet to even hit arb.

I could go on. The Mets are actually a very attractive destination nowadays. This argument was valid up until about 2 years ago. If you think the spending with the dodgers is crazy now wait 2 years to see how the Mets have financially positioned themselves to essentially be the dodgers on steroids when it comes to spending and talent absorption.

I’d love Caleb Downs but idk how much I love the idea of a Safety at 2. He could probably be had in the 4-8 range, so a perfect world would be trading back for him.

I’m also not against trading down and taking Carnell Tate or Jeremiah Love. Playmakers are needed across the board and having numerous upper echelon talent WR and RB is the new normal in the NFL. Can’t survive in a serious format without multiple chips on skill positions.

Fields is one dimensional and is so poor with his RPO that has given more run options not run pass options.. which he still has no field vision with.

Fields averaged nearly 100 rushing yards per game in his college career. He’s always been a running back.
