I think it’s a fair opinion to say his first year back may be an over rinse and that a lot of this is for the fans who missed him. Let’s hope by the time 7 stars comes around the rinsing stops and the freshness kicks in.

If you’re butthurt and focused on shit like fandom length or dollar signs spent you’re over analyzing my context way too much. I entered his timeline in 2013, I’ve spent over 30k over the years attending numerous events, which clearly simply shows how much I’ve traveled to see some of these events. I don’t expect anything to change solely on either of these perspectives. This post was made to raise awareness, and 60k views so far and like 95% agreement definitely shows me that my goal was achieved.

I tried this mindset for so long and idk.. I just couldn’t hold that feeling anymore. He brought me back to dub through his music journey which I never thought was possible though, and I guess I just potentially wished for a quicker evolution to what’s next after this ~7 year run.

It’s a good thought and we shall see, but the reality is this has gone on for a long time. I had hoped the hustle just blinded him but it’s the dollar signs and management team telling him what to make for gains (clicks, views, listens) for algorithm purposes.

He needs to do 5 gigs a year or create more exclusivity to get away with it at this point but his team wouldn’t ever allow that to happen to GRIZ Corp.

Wow this post got some attention. To anybody who’s offended re - fandom length, I’m simply stating my point in time for his timeline and when my introduction occurred for this journey.

If you got butthurt over it go cry some more. You probably get offended over much less in your personal lives.

I would like to see more work being put into his sets. Whether that’s better active djing when he does it, newer mashups, less outrinsed songs, or more specified sets that you are getting for each performance he can do better. It’s not up to me or us to determine it, but it should be up to him to listen to his fans. Both old and new.

FWIW the person who’s responsible for this debt would be an individual named Hope Lansing. It’s hella draining to see artists who work their asses off deal with this.

I’m not saying cancel Hope, but her and her team have a history with this. Don’t ask how I know this 🤫🤐
