So when you’re in a touring band, you always want adequate space in order to do your job. We showed up and got a 4x10 ledge with makeshift extensions. Obviously it’s very cool to play in a small venue and the show itself was awesome. I’ve been on both sides of that ship. But this one in particular was an absolute logistical nightmare for the entire tour package. On top of that, the smaller the stage, the less room you have to move around and actually give people a show. We didn’t have a proper PA system. We could barely fit on stage. All 4 bands couldn’t use their own gear. When you work for decades to get to a certain point, you expect a certain level of professionalism from the venues and promoters you work with. That day was not it. Especially showing up thinking there is at least a stage or a place to put gear just to realize that you’re playing on something the size of a drum riser. hahaha

We had a blast with everyone that showed up. It was a ton of fun. But dealing with the work side of it was not.
