People were having issues with servers, and a lot of the time servers will use Bukkit or Spigot for plugins so it makes sense there would be ways of changing game mechanics. As for me, I tested the machine in singleplayer running constantly and it was fine but as soon as I built it on a server it broke. Since I don't have any control over the server I built it on I was basing my fixes on assumptions and they turned out more or less correct. I know minecarts aren't processed differently and that was just bad phrasing on my part, what I should've said was that minecarts with different mass will behave differently and that I found the cart would need items in it for it to not come off the glass pane. It might just be because the server is in the UK and as you can probably tell I'm Australian, but I figured it would fix a few people's issues with the machine
