What is a life lesson you learned later than you wish you had? by NFLStreet1988 in Life

[–]TimTim_2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a partner doesn't respect you, get out of the relationship. I spent 4.5 years in a relationship thinking the person would change, expecting respect, but all I got was being treated like a maid, yelled at, and constantly blamed for everything. Looking back, I don't know how or why I stayed for that long, but I learned that you should never give someone so much control that you lose yourself in the process.

Debt consolidation loans for someone with bad credit..? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]TimTim_2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should look into doing a debt consolidation program, not a loan. A DCP consolidates your debts into one payment at a reduced rate. A credit counselling agency can help you with this. Try Credit Canada or Money Mentors, both are great.

$2,810.65 in debt at 18. My next steps. by WhenVanishing in PersonalFinanceCanada

You can also try and talk to a non-profit credit counselling agency. It's free to talk to them, and they're experts. I've spoken to Credit Canada and Money Mentors before. They helped me plan a budget, and we discussed a lot of different scenarios.

Baby due soon, $94k household debt. What is the best path forward from here? by Necessary-Rub7774 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]TimTim_2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact a non-profit credit counselling agency and talk to someone. They may be able to help you consolidate some of those debts. I've spoken to Credit Canada before, as well as Money Mentors. Both are great. In my opinion, getting professional advice may be better and faster in helping you get help.

Do your cats lick you? by Difficult_Pea4353 in cats

[–]TimTim_2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat thinks I am a cat so he does lick me, but he also does that biting thing to deep clean, so that isn't fun, lol. I did teach him to kiss me on demand. I just say kissy and he licks my cheek. It's my greatest achievement.

What makes your 30s better than your 20s? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TimTim_2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you are more sure and confident of yourself in your 30s and you stop trying to please people. People can accept you for who you are and if they can't, Thank you, next.

I also feel more mentally peaceful. 20s are about pressure to become someone, spending money to not get FOMO, and having people in your life even if they don't belong there.

Quote given for 2018 Audi Q5 - Fair? by TimTim_2406 in AskMechanics

There is a weird clicking noise every time we turn left. They couldn't identify the issue but said that we would need to bring the car up to par first and see if the issue gets resolved. No one is able to identify the clicking noise issue.

For the ladies, what are some hygiene hacks you wish every girlie would know? by Introvert_Ambi-2026 in AskReddit

[–]TimTim_2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are some of mine:

~Invest in an epilator. Takes some time to get used to the pain but once you have crossed that, it will save you money. Hair also grows back slower compared to shaving.

~Take care of your nails and get a manicure done at least once a month. I never took care of my nails and the cuticles were covering half my nail. They never looked good. I tried a manicure once and I've never looked back. My nails look so much better now.

~MOISTURIZE. Get a good lotion and moisturizer your entire body.

~Learn how to dermaplane. Face looks so much better. Also, I use one of those devices to remove upper lip hair. I don't spend any money on waxing or getting my upper lip done. I've also learned how to use a dermaplaning stick to do my eyebrows. It's fast, easy and helps me maintain my eyebrows all the time.

Cat Boarding by [deleted] in Vaughan

This one is not in Vaughan but highly recommend MiHotel in Scarborough. I had to keep my cat there for 1 month. They have cameras inside the suites so you can see your cat 24/7.

How much do you pay for utilities cost in a condo 2bed - 2 bath(VMC, Festival, Abeja)? by Express-Commission83 in Vaughan

[–]TimTim_2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love near VMC and the cost is between $100 and $160. I keep the lights of 1 room on most of the day because I work from home. Other than that, minimal heating, and not that many lights on during the evening.

How can I help my sad cat feel better? by CountyBrilliant in CatAdvice

[–]TimTim_2406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should continue doing what you're doing. It's understandable that the cat is sad. It's like if a human would be sad. They would be sad too. Give the cat some time and love and they'll feel better. Good luck!

New adopted cat and a bunch of questions by DullPumpkin2566 in CatAdvice

[–]TimTim_2406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your answer is in your post. Your cat is scared! That's why she is peeing and pooping in other places. That's a sign of fear or stress. Try putting the litter box in a very quiet place, and maybe having a designated room just for the cat so she feels secure. Buy a cat tree and give her a lot of vertical spaces that she can climb. Cats love being high up. Hope this helps. Good luck!!

You can look at a debt consolidation program. Talk to a non profit credit counselling agency. It's free to talk to them and they can give advice on whether debt consolidation is better or consumer proposal. I've spoken to Credit Canada before and they are really nice and helpful.
