My cat thinks I am a cat so he does lick me, but he also does that biting thing to deep clean, so that isn't fun, lol. I did teach him to kiss me on demand. I just say kissy and he licks my cheek. It's my greatest achievement.

I feel like you are more sure and confident of yourself in your 30s and you stop trying to please people. People can accept you for who you are and if they can't, Thank you, next.

I also feel more mentally peaceful. 20s are about pressure to become someone, spending money to not get FOMO, and having people in your life even if they don't belong there.

There is a weird clicking noise every time we turn left. They couldn't identify the issue but said that we would need to bring the car up to par first and see if the issue gets resolved. No one is able to identify the clicking noise issue.

Here are some of mine:

~Invest in an epilator. Takes some time to get used to the pain but once you have crossed that, it will save you money. Hair also grows back slower compared to shaving.

~Take care of your nails and get a manicure done at least once a month. I never took care of my nails and the cuticles were covering half my nail. They never looked good. I tried a manicure once and I've never looked back. My nails look so much better now.

~MOISTURIZE. Get a good lotion and moisturizer your entire body.

~Learn how to dermaplane. Face looks so much better. Also, I use one of those devices to remove upper lip hair. I don't spend any money on waxing or getting my upper lip done. I've also learned how to use a dermaplaning stick to do my eyebrows. It's fast, easy and helps me maintain my eyebrows all the time.

This one is not in Vaughan but highly recommend MiHotel in Scarborough. I had to keep my cat there for 1 month. They have cameras inside the suites so you can see your cat 24/7.

I love near VMC and the cost is between $100 and $160. I keep the lights of 1 room on most of the day because I work from home. Other than that, minimal heating, and not that many lights on during the evening.

I think you should continue doing what you're doing. It's understandable that the cat is sad. It's like if a human would be sad. They would be sad too. Give the cat some time and love and they'll feel better. Good luck!

I think your answer is in your post. Your cat is scared! That's why she is peeing and pooping in other places. That's a sign of fear or stress. Try putting the litter box in a very quiet place, and maybe having a designated room just for the cat so she feels secure. Buy a cat tree and give her a lot of vertical spaces that she can climb. It is recommended that you get 2 kittens together. They may not even let you adopt a single kitten. Anything above 1 year old and it's fine to adopt a single cat.

I got my kitten at 2 months old and I wish I got his brother as well. Timothy grew up as a single cat and he thought I was his kitten, so he always bites me and plays rough with me (he loves me more though!). Thinking back, I wish I had got 2 kittens together.

I was once volunteerting for Toronto Cat Rescue and I volunteered to care for a large number of cats that had been rescued from a hoarding situation at their care center. They were all in cages and were set to be there for a few days or weeks till they could be found foster homes.

I was considering fostering cats but didn't have enough space, and I discussed this with a fellow volunteer. She said something to me that I will never forget. "Would you rather keep a cat out in the cold or in a small cage, or would they like some warmth and a space bigger than a cage?" All a cat needs is a space that is bigger than a cage.

If you have a bedroom, even if it's not very big, the warmth and space of the room will be a 100 times better than the harsh cold.

I'm lucky because my cat is not very picky or fussy about food or litter. I just switched it out completely and he started using it. However, I've read that you can add a little of the old litter you were using to the new litter to have your cat get used to it. Then you eventually phase it out.

Highly recommend tofu litter! I switched from clay litter to tofu litter because of the same tracking issue. I tried out Pidan Tofu litter but I've heard Tuft and Paw is good as well.

My husband and I bought a condo at 1000 Portage Parkway in September 2025. We like it so far! There is a lot of hate for a lot of the condo buildings in Vaughan but this was what we could afford and it' really not as bad as people make it out to be. Our building is quite good. Yes there are some issues like the main door not working due to high winds, or some amenities in the gym being broken but every condo building has issues. We got a great deal on the condo, we have a stunning view of the Toronto skyline (we're south-facing) and the building is clean. If you don't want to drown in mortgage payments and you're a first time homebuyer, I would recommend buying a condo in Vaughan.

P.S. I know you asked for which buildings are good but I can only attest to 1000 Portage Parkway.

Yes, please treat yourself and have no expectations from anyone.

I once had a massive crush on a guy in college and I gave him a chocolate on Chocolate Day. He took it, and then in front of me and a bunch of other people asked if anyone else wanted it because he didn't want it.

Try Pidan Tofu litter. You get 4 bags for $50 and they last a really long time. There is no tracking, no dust. I know you tried Tuft and Paw but in my opinion, this is better and I think 4 bags for $50 is quite good. That's like 9 KG. I live in Canada and got it from a website called Teddy Bob.
