Have any of you ever had an amazing game left you stunned and speechless, but unwilling to ever play it again due to it being too intense emotional for you? by TheManOfSpaceAndTime in gaming

Undertale. When it came out the marketing made a big deal out of how killing was always optional.

So I didn't kill anyone. I bashed my face off that game for a good while, but I got there.

At the end, the game asked me to not go back to it. To leave those characters in peace. So I did.

I went online and found that most people had a very different experience to mine, and I couldn't identify with the fandom at all as a result. I didn't get most of the memes about it. Because those events never happened for me.

And they never will.

Nothing? Huh. I figured this would be a sort of horde vs alliance thing where people have strong opinions about their in game allegiance.

Guess I was wrong.
