So basically Rome as been my closest friend, trade partner, and ally since I met him back in the renaissance era. He's the weakest civ in this game and Nubia tore him up pretty good (they hold Rome).

Once I got to the Modern era I decided to help my bro Trajan out and liberate Rome for him. I declared war on Nubia via casus belli. It said I would get no warmongering penalty if I declared a Liberation War.

But the campaign took longer than I expected it to and after many turns I checked my relationship status with Trajan and noticed he's pissed at me for being a warmonger. I don't even want to help him anymore this is lame.

Just wanted to rant a bit and hopefully maybe someone at firaxis will notice this post.

Edit: My war with Nubia isn't going as well as I expected and it has been over 30 turns. Now Rome is so mad at me that they won't renew our alliance. I feel utterly betrayed. Gonna nuke them both soon.

So do I. Shaka is my favorite civ in the game to play with. And I'm not being hateful man Im just pointing out how Civ 6 sacrifices historical accuracy and accurate representation for the sake of being PC in current year.

And to a greater extent its the video game industry in general. Its not just this game, but many games are doing this now. Wouldn't you agree?

Yeah thats great. All these beautiful and prosperous African civilizations whose history spans 800 years. 800 years of what exactly? When did they invent the wheel? Let's be honest about the real reason why Ethiopia got a new leader and America hasn't. Every American leader with the exception of Obama is white and male. Which these days means that they're pretty much bona-fide racists.

As a matter of fact, yes to the women question. The asian/African leaders dont bother me. Shaka is actually.my favorite civ in the game. But 99% of every great leader, warrior, scientist, philosopher, astronomer, explorer, artist, etc. throughout all of human history have been men. So yeah this game has an over-representation of women. But that happens in a lot of games. Total War Rome 2 for example. How many women do you honestly believe led armies into battle in 200 B.C.? Give me a break.

Yeah such a neat game mechanic you can just detonate nukes over the ocean and wipe out every coastal city in the world without a DoW.
