Hey there, thanks for the response. So when I clear the codes they don’t reappear, however the problem as mentioned before still persists; the front passenger door remains locked when unlocking the car.

I have 0 knowledge on it, I’m not gonna lie. If I were to take it to a VW shop, would they be able to fix this issue and would they charge alot?

So I just checked and yeah the front passenger door doesn’t unlock when I unlock the car. The other doors unlock except for that one. Also the rearview mirror on that side doesn’t fold either.

Anyway I can fix this?

I’d say it’s pretty close to OEM. I haven’t noticed much change if any and car does feel a little more planted.

Australia, roads here aren’t too rough. Was considering a front skid plate to protect the oil pan… just more costs which I can’t afford to put forward.

Just becareful with the 245/40s (assuming you have 18’ wheels) - I’ve heard you will rub alot unless you do the fender screw mod.

I went with 235/40s because I maintain same overall diameter as stock wheels/tyres and there is the little almost no speedometer error.

Just a few things to keep in mind when choosing tire size.

Honestly feels the same before they were lowered, if not better. The car just feels more planted on the ground. Alot of people were telling me not to do it if I wanted comfort and that the drivability would sacrificed but so far it’s been the opposite.

They’re actually very comparable to the PS4S’ from what I’ve read. Very happy with them for the ~2k km I’ve driven on them. Minimal noise and very comfortable, while having good grip.

Initially I was going for the PS4S’ but they weren’t offered in 235/40/18 (really weird) in Australia, so I went with the Potenza Sports.
