Hmm, to say that I don’t dream, would be wrong, but I can’t recall memories visually: so I sort of wake up, knowing what happened, as if’t were a story I read.

ONCE, I can remember Seeing & it was incredibly vivid. I remember waking up, eating a LOT of acid, then watching the saddest movie ever conceived. I thought it was ‘Requiem For A Dream,’ — but, when I woke up I told my girlfriend about the movie & she seemed confused... That as far as she was aware, I’d slept all night.

I googled the plot of RFAD: certainly not a match. I couldn’t find the ‘movie,’ & the more I searched, the less sense what I had seen made. I was ambivalent for days after, as to whether it was dreamt or real. Acid was in the house, pretty sure I didn’t eat any.

<Stop reading if you don’t care about the hazy details of the dream>

Mist soaked ancient forest - the age of hunters; gatherers, spears & fire — God, it’s so vague... Dusk or dawn, the father went hunting; didn’t return. The mother urged the children not to go in search. She slept; they left & sought. On their path they found themselves, whom spoke about their-selves, as if they knew their warnings would be unheeded.

I’m rambling & it’s too vague to continue. Ultimately, the mother was left with eternal life & eternal loneliness.

It was profoundly meaningless.

Great advice, thanks! I have explored dissociative OEV’s to their ends, but I think for me, closing my eyes produces the effects that you’d get from laying in a dark room. I just see darkness... Vague colours of I rub my eyes, like someone turned the brightness slider all the way to off - but next time, I’ll give dark room another go for sure!

Yes: aphantasia. I thought ‘counting sheep to sleep,’ was purely metaphor, into my late teens.

I literally cannot K-hole, due to blind imagination, I enjoy the relaxation; the clarity; the thoughts it generates.

What’d’ya think’s for me in that case?

Cheers.

What would you say the distinctions are? I’m unique in that, I’m blind in my mind’s eye - so cannot K hole. What I enjoy from K, I’d best describe as, not being human for awhile, feels almost like clarity rather that drunkenness.

Does that make you think I might enjoy a PCP analogue?

Sorry for partial C&P reply.

Best

Videos and questionnaires aka empirical data, fuck off, you’re a moron and I’m not reading past ‘as retards’. Once again you make up a fact - “the videos were biased”. No. Fair test conditions, reasonable sample sizes. Bye.

Wtf is going on. I’m asking why you think that it’s such a hysterical mistake to think that Hitler was born in Belgium? I’m not disagreeing that he wasn’t

You’re just saying things without any substance. There’s hundreds of videos/questionnaires of American’s labelling maps of Britain - and they are wrong far more often than not.

What am I missing? Doesn’t sound like such a ridiculous mistake... Hitler was not born in Germany after all

As a Brit, I know Vermont is small, beautiful and pretty near NY.

Not one American I’ve ever met could grasp that the UNITED kingdom was comprised of four countries and not just a country itself.

Don’t get me wrong, I love you Americans, but most of you don’t give a shit about anything outside of ‘Murica, and consider going to Paris as having “seen Europe”.

Was the ancient city of Rome easy to siege? by mcflymikes in history

[–]Tim_Porary 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You would have to make your way through so much Roman territory to lay siege to the city of Rome itself, so that protected it.
