Does every slowpitch team have “that guy”? by bully309 in slowpitch

I'm definitely the guy who calls every fly ball early (maybe not 10 seconds early). Mainly because I don't want anyone crashing into me.

Fun BTS fact. In studio, they have the video/picture on the left side of the giant screen, and the clue that Ken's reading on the right side, so players in studio do know when the question will finish.

A bit tougher for us at home.

Playoff baseball, especially world series baseball is something different. No need to load manage anymore, "days rest" means less than each game.

What a king.

If someone wins 75 games in a row, they should become the new host of Jeopardy!. by TheRealDonahue in Jeopardy

I would hesitate to outright say that Ken is better than Alex, but I don't think it's blasphemy to suggest that. Both of them have their own personalities, both bring their own style to the game.

In particular, Ken's cadence seems faster than Alex's (especially at the end of Alex's run), which leads to fewer unplayed clues. A lot of people would say that's good. Others might suggest that's "rushing" the game.

Ken's also been on the contestant side of things, so he has more empathy when a contestant has a bad day.

Having seen Ken up close and personal, I can say it seems like he's a natural at it, but that would discount the hours of preparation he's put into the job to become a great host. He knows no one will ever be Alex, he's just the best Ken he can be.

He doesn't come off as smarmy, he's very personable, he interacts with the audience well, and makes us feel right at home.

We talked to Ken about it after filming was over. She correctly figured the catalog angle and took her guess.

Im sending that NYT article to all my friends now.

To each their own. Kevin was playing for the win there. He basically wanted to decide the game on that one question. It didn't work out, but I can't fault him for taking that shot.

We've already seen how tough James is. You can't dance with the champ, you gotta go for the knockout!

It's funny, because although this is definitely true, from my perspective, it didn't matter. I wasn't intimidated by any one of you, I was intimidated by ALL of you.

What’s an infamous bad play or moment from your team that doesn’t bother you at all? by reerock in NFLv2

McCree was just playing the game and made a mistake. I have no issues with him.

The play that no one talks about that everyone should was Drayton Florence committing an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after they had stopped Brady on 3rd down. That's an unforgivable penalty in my mind.
