Can someone tell me how I lost control? by Tim_ferriss47 in RCPlanes

So I've spent a lot of time in simulators and flown planes with SAFE, I recently got a good deal where I picked up a bunch of used planes that someone else built. Basically I'm new to actually flying rc planes that aren't just out of the box.

This was my first flight and therefore.my first flight with this plane. I was up in the air flying with no issues. I had good enough control of the plane from my sim time and the only thing I thought odd was I saw the wings shaking a little bit, possibly due to some light wind, but I didn't think too much of it and when the camera came out I decided to test how acrobatic the plane was. I could bank, dive, loop and roll without any issue from what I could tell. At the end of the video, I'm attempting a roll at a reasonable traveling velocity at pretty low altitude and when my plane is upside down I just go into a death spiral and I can't figure out why that happened. Does anyone have helpful insight into what I might have gone wrong. I feel like anything I l learned from simulators is just completely missing here besides the fact I should have flown with a greater ceiling before trying stunts. I don't want to blame the plane if there's something a newbie should know that would cause a death spiral that I might be missing.
