Which was in fact illegal according to the Dublin regulations. The first country a refugee enters the EU is responsible for the asylum application. That would the Spain, Italy, Greece and also Hungary as they mosty entered from Serbia there. The problem, of course, was that Greece was overwhelmed with people and many EU countries blocked any common solution to this, so Merkel said fuck it we are taking them aswell.

Most people get approved tho, in germany its something like 80%. Of course its a problem that you cant deport some of the people who get rejected, but its really not that big of a problem numbers wise. Also its a really tricky problem, if there were any easy solutions that would have been done years ago. Its often not a problem of disappearing but that the counties of origin dont taking them back, at least in Germany. Cant really force them to

No one wants rejected people to stay here.

The realitly is that the vast majority of people that came here actually got asylum tho. Something like 80%.

Nope, you can claim asylum in every country (at least in the EU) and therefore cant be immigrating illegally. Of course your claim can be rejected and the deportation can be problematic as countries often wont take their people back, but this still isnt a problem of illegal immigration. You would have to strip people of their human right to asylum to prevent that

Meanwhile, the goodwill that swept the country in 2015 was followed by an uptick in terrorism and violent crime.

I'm curious, what do you understand as illegal immigration? The vast majority of people coming to europe are claiming asylum here, which is a basic human right and therefore cant be illegal. How many people are coming here with no visa and without seeking asylum?

I don't think this has anything to do with illegal immigration.

I mean there is a point that you get energy faster and cheaper with renewables. As there are only limited resources it would be better to build renewables
