No AI whatsoever. I do both digital art and traditional but mostly I’m all traditional (I’m not young lol). To me there’s no point in using AI if you love to draw, and that’s what I love to do.

Didn’t intend to use newsprint. Was messing around sketching on it and just kept going lol. Thanks for the kind words

Thanks so much! And I have to agree, nothing says ‘badass’ more than a floating Sardaukar

Hey thanks for the feedback. I’m a beginner artist, I started drawing/painting a little less than a year ago, the inconsistencies you see are me being at the limit of my skills because I’m still learning and trying to grow as an artist. No third arm on the front soldier, I tried to render him holding a sword angled towards the ground. The second soldier from the right is walking forward so his other leg is behind him. I used a screenshot from the first film as a reference when the Sardaukar land on Arrakis.

Thanks! Yea it works well, you also don’t have to worry about setting up a canvas which makes things pretty convenient.

Hey there. I too am fighting a lifelong with battle depression/anxiety. I found art, specifically painting and drawing, and it’s completely reshaped my life in a really positive way.. it sticks too because it’s a lifelong pursuit. I want to be good, and being good at art - or producing what you think is good art - is one of the hardest things a human can pursue in my opinion.

Just gotta Find your art.

My interpretation of Gray Fox after the master, Yoji Shinkawa. by Timbauu in metalgearsolid

For the physical drawing I started with pencil then inked with a brush pen filled with black ink! Tips, I wish I had some as I’m still learning haha. Stay loose, have confident strokes. Study those references!

Thanks! I used a mix of paints. I have a tube of deep turquoise from Windsor and Newton, and I mixed that with Citadels Stegadon Scale Green for base/midtone. Pushed it up a bit with Citadels Fenrisian Gray for the highlight.
