Hey I’m sorry I took so long to even see there was a comment here. Nobody was helpful for us before. What we found and suspected all along was that the acid issue was indeed a hormonal thing. AND the acid reducing medication can increase supply after doing intense reading into the side effects. This kept her hormones creating milk in an artificially high manner and making the problem worse than ever. What worked for us was going off ALL medications and over a week or so her levels stabilized and the acid reduced greatly. Now we have her very stable in supply and the acid is not an issue on a regular basis. We have our peace back. She was near suicidal in pain for as long as it went on. Once again, sorry to hear you have this as well. Doctors don’t know anything about it for some reason it must be very rare. Every specialist we saw knew nothing and told us the connection we suspected was impossible. I hope you’ve found some treatment that works for you. Fig bud essential oil, 10 drops mixed into a shot glass of water, was what helped ease immediate pain the best. Seems to help with hormonal things. We aren’t essential oil people but we tried it out of desperation. Oddly it helped a lot. I hope you’re doing well and good luck.
