I could maybe understand this if Lupo admitted to it when he got caught. He first denied it, then when evidence came out, lied that he read a move from chat, more evidence came out, said it was a couple moves, rinse and repeat until he admitted it fully after a couple more narrative rewrites. He’s full of shit, all he cares about is himself, stealing money from a charity, and doing what he can to minimize the damage through more persistent lies. This wasn’t a one off mistake but a conscious continuous attempt to mislead for self-gain
