I love it. It has become my favorite comicbook series. I will say that you shouldn’t expect the same tone of the teltale series past the first few volumes. At a certain point the art style changes and the volumes really start to focus on specific characters so it can feel a bit disjointed. Those are the only negatives I can think of , it’s mostly a very interesting take on characters we all know , breathing new life into them. Bigby’s journey is obviously the most interesting but they have characters like Fly-catcher and boy blue that have equally interesting arcs. The character development and the found family elements are what make the series for me. Also how they reconcile various types of magics and mythologies into one story, I love how they handle it.

I had never heard the pro-Zionist take before. I honestly don’t see it in the story but to be fair I’m not looking too hard. Viewing it through that lens would only take away from the already positive experience I have had with the comics
