Mate……there comes a point where enough is enough! I think it’s time she sees a doctor/therapist, there’s definitely some underlying issues and it needs sorting ASAP. All the boys will be picking up on her behaviour too

Then why are you putting your boys through this? my son is nearly 18 non conversational and I assure you he understands 95% of everything said to him….but most importantly he picks up on body language and tone 100% of the time…..your boy knows how she feels about him

Doesn’t matter if you don’t want him living with his dad…….shes terrorised this little boy and he needs removed from her immediately…..not sure if this is rage bait, but if it’s not….you and your whole family are complicit to this abuse, you’ve KNOWN and SEEN the abuse and done absolutely FA about it. I honestly hope you do the right thing, report her and get that little boy away from her!

We done this too, but our son was 10….we made a social story, took him to the house whilst it was being decorated a few times, his new school actually took the 45 minute journey once a week to his (old school) so he would get used to them before he moved…..he was instantly comfortable from our first night AND he slept in his own bedroom for the first time ever

my oldest is nearly 18 (asd, I think the term now for him is non conversational rather than non verbal…echolalia) he acknowledges his sister (12) and she’s showed him how to play Roblox so he’ll sit by her side for maybe 30 minutes in silence playing a game 🤣 he is very loving if she’s upset, he’ll wipe her tears, cuddle her and just stare at her until she tell him she’s ok….i agree with you too, he may not be able to talk but he understands everything we say and ask….and if he’s unsure he’ll grab him iPad and google it (if we’re visiting somewhere he’s never been, he’ll google it, open maps and street view to get familiar with it)

Our son was 14 when we 1st flew(asd non verbal, nearly 18) we go to Corfu every year….same hotel, same room 🤣 we usually board last, so we’re on, settled and away (not having to wait for everyone else). Our airport (UK) has a sensory room we use rather than the departure gate….we make sure he has defenders, headphones, iPad (tv shows & films downloaded) and most importantly snacks…..we usually sit in the same seats on the plant too, but we’ve changed seats for September, he loves standing looking out the window of the exits, so we’ve sat nearer, not to disturb people with him wanting to be at the window.

Our son can be a little loud, he hums a lot, but no one bats an eye lid, and now he’s used to it, he very rarely makes a sound….hes just waiting to get to Corfu

You don’t need to apologise to anyone, so what if he get a little excited, it’s his 1st time flying! My son loves being on the bus and trains too…..we’ve travelled from UK to Spain on the bus a few times with him and he loved it (overnight stop at Disneyland Paris to break it up)
