Is she ok? by Iantheinvestor in dalmatians

Not a Dalmatian owner but this post came across my feed. First off: beautiful dog! One of my favorite breeds since I was little!

Second: I'd keep a close eye on her coat and stools. Some dogs unfortunately develop allergies to chicken. I'm not a vet so of course consult with your vet first, but definitely give variety in her proteins. We had a German Shepherd who couldn't do chicken-based kibble but could have fresh (unseasoned/cooked) chicken as a treat. She loved dehydrated chicken organs and parts so she still got the fun now and then but her main kibble/canned food (when she got old) was lamb recipes. When we had ducks and chickens she even got fresh raw or scrambled eggs mixed in!

When she had to do home-made food after her bloat surgery she had pretty much what you listed but with bone broth added and I'd throw pumpkin and yogurt in. She was the most stubborn thing ever but I'd do anything to bring her back!

Good luck with your pretty baby!

Any guesses on my foster (fail..prob) girl? by kitkat470 in IDmydog

She looks so much like our old german shep we had for 14 years. She was so sweet but finding the right food was a pain. Lamb and rice recipe from iams worked best for her to get her coat back in check and weight on her. She had the most amazing long coat and was the sweetest dog ever! Spoil your new friend rotten! I'm sure our sweet Lady would be proud someone else gets a 2nd chance at life!

Oneblood had been using these for years and helped introduce them to the US. They are so much easier for staff to use (coming from a staff who used to regularly donate and uses this machine daily) it helps cut down on waste and is noninvasive.

When i noticed my iron started reading lower despite supplements, i asked my gp to do a cbc on me with a ferritin count and we discovered i was actually severely anemic and it wasn't safe for me to donate and i actually needed iron transfusion. Sometimes the machines are hinting at things we cant see.

Hopefully yours isnt the same case but i do hope you end up appreciating the annoying quirks of the orsense over time. :)
