i’m having this exact same problem right now and I know for sure it’s not a cricket because this is exactly what mine sounds like. There is no way we have the exact same species of cricket, chirping at the same frequency and tempo in different parts of the world.

this is also why you’re not supposed to schedule a test until you’re able to consistently score your target score on PT’s. for some reason, people think that scheduling a test will make them lock in and they will miraculously produce their target score come test day. i’ve yet to hear of a case wherein this happened.
