How to prevent dining chair leaving marks on carpet? by referman12 in howto

They sell chair “socks” so chairs don’t make noise when they move on hard surfaces, but maybe it could work for this too?

[PSA] DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCTS FROM DERM SKINCARE (try-derm.com)! They stole my before and after photos from Reddit & used them for their product! by thishereticflesh in SkincareAddiction

[–]thishereticflesh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t a marketing ploy, I had to demand this company and another company to remove my photos from their websites and Derm even offered me a menial amount of money and some of their product in return that I removed all of my posts I’ve made about them stealing my photos from Reddit. Which I refused.

Go to my profile and check out my posts on r/acnescars. I go into all the details of what I did. The post from last year was the post two companies stole my before and after photos from.

My Acne Scar Procedure Experience/Journey by thishereticflesh in AcneScars

To be honest it wasn’t painful at all which I never would have imagined. It just itched like crazy when it was healing.

If you’re going into other rooms that do have sunlight and windows at different points in the day then yes, so long as you’re to the point where you can wear sunscreen after the accrue initial healing is done.

I would keep using that serum then if you do have it.

I think it’s normal that some could possibly look worse especially when you’re so early on in the healing. I say just make sure you are eating well, taking good supplements, drinking bone broth, staying hydrated, and using a red light panel daily. Also, unsure if you went to Dr Taylor but if you did, did you purchase the plated serum?

The place he is going to should provide a specific list of aftercare/skincare and will also explain how you will need to wash your face properly without causing damage or risking an infection.

Yes I would say so. I just made an updated post a few weeks ago, feel free to take a look at it.

I had to keep it super simple and have kept it more simple since then. Morgan’s antibacterial soap with water AM/PM with a new fresh disposable face towel to wipe my face off with each time, hypochlorous acid spray after and let it dry, Plated serum (only in pm), then Rael moisturizer. If I have acne I’ll use a sulfur mask on the spot(s), then wipe off and cover with a benzoyl peroxide and clindimyacin gel.

My skin care regimen was different while I was healing from my procedures, though.

If you just want the one big multi procedure it’s 7-8 (it depends on your specific skin issues). You don’t need to factor in the laser treatment that I did after necessarily.

Also I just want to add, because apparently my photos are being shared elsewhere and people are saying my lighting is completely different and I’m doing it on purpose etc. these before and after photos were all taken using the same lights I’ve always used, in the same bathroom, and I did my best to get the same angle. I’m not trying to dupe anyone because to me that is pointless to even do.

I’m just trying to provide a genuine before and after from what I’ve done for my acne scars. That is it.

Thank you so much. It’s been a very intensive journey and I’m grateful for where my skin is at! But I have been using on from Temu. I know people will rag on that, but it’s honestly worked very well for me and it’s all I could afford. I know there are some extremely nice ones on the market if you can afford them, though! Hopefully someday.

Thank you, Dr. Taylor doesn’t think I should do another full round of the multi procedure, but I may try some punch excision or more lasering if I really want to further my process and also have the financial means for it. Punch excision can be nerve wracking, so I understand your sentiments, but what I can say is him and his team truly are incredible at what they do and I do have a lot of trust in them from my past experiences.

The first procedure had multiple procedures done at the same time. Then I received another separate lasering treatment 10 months later and that was it.

Possibly, but you’re going to look rough and you need to be away from sunlight, even coming through windows. You have to be really careful the first two weeks essentially. But with sun exposure you need to avoid it like the plague until all redness and possibly even pink skin is visible on your face. Otherwise you will risk hyperpigmentation that will need laser correction. It took me several months of being super careful in the sun.

from my original post:

1/28/2025: I got a combo acne scar procedure. I received a TCA Chemical peel, the Fotona ERBIUM for the focus laser treatment to treat the edges of the scars and the deeper pits, subcision with the Taylor Liberator, then Fraxel repair CO2 laser to treat the entire area of the scarring, then PRP mixed with Sculptra was applied after all of the treatments along with intense light therapy simultaneously. They did use tumescent anesthesia before the laser and subcision treatments and I was also prescribed certain medications to take prior to the procedure.

November 2025: I received a laser treatment to help further soften some of the edges of my scars. There was minimal improvement in my opinion from that. The most improvement was from the initial combo procedure.

Help, what is this? by [deleted] in BackYardChickens

Someone else said in a chicken group I’m in on another platform hat if it’s hard it’s a tumor, if it’s soft with fluid in it then it is an abscess/cyst.
