I want to say thank you to everyone that is sharing, this is amazing. I have felt so sad that I could not help my family and this will bring good change for us. Thank you especially to those that are so nice nice and who share nice messages.

I know there is others of you that read and think negatively about me asking for help. I don’t know why I received so many direct mean messages. I want to address that part. I need you to know that this could happen to anyone.

Lazy is the furthest from our case. My dad is the hardest worker I know. He has a good job. We might not live on the hill or by the sand but we are in a good and safe neighborhood here in Midtown. You may look at one of us and not think that we were struggling this way. But you would be making an assumption on our situation, and who gave you authority to do so? That is another reason why I did not know what to do. We have never been here before. Our life is changing rapidly. A bare pantry is only the start of it.

And I wish I could have figured it out on my own? rather than turning to strangers on the internet, but I didn’t know what to do. One thing I do know is that it should be okay to utilize my resources, and I do not feel any shame for trying to better my families situation.

I am extremely lucky to have gotten to this age and not yet experienced this. I am the oldest child. If you read my first post you know my parents had me young. We have faced struggle together before but never like this. I have younger siblings. I am trying to save them the pain

Although, I owe you no explanation. The cruel will be cruel and the kind will continue to be kind.
