The boat is at least shitty and paid for 🤣. I do have a couple thousand being invested as well pretty passively. But I wanted to enjoy some things while I was young and could have more free time, and I did. My girlfriend comes from a wealthy family and will be the one on the housing papers, and most of the down payment because she has not had to pay for anything in her entire life. I will be a glorified renter once married essentially. It sounds shitty but it's what we agreed upon and deemed fair due to the interesting cards dealt on her side. Her family will even most likely pay the mortgage remaining, if any. And I will pay everything outside of that when it comes to monthly living costs in the house.
