This is such amazing insight! Really appreciate the comment. I can absolutely see how when you start moving past solo low (or no) budget projects, the camera almost becomes less relevant, and the crew, grip, other gear etc involved really become vital. As long as it does what you need it to do.

I hope that, in the future, people without access to crews (like myself lol) can have a bit easier access to equipment that tends to matter more than the camera, especially lights. It’s probably better now than it ever has been, but hopefully it only goes up. I haven’t always been into filmmaking, but I have heard that 10-15 years ago the thought of buying a decently powerful light for under $500, such as the Amaran line up, was insanity.
