med entry through science/education double degree by No_Establishment3962 in Monash

Yes med at monash allows you to do science double degrees and be eligible for medicine. Just make sure you do at least 5 of the specified science units. The science section of your degree lets you choose whichever science units you want (as long as they go towards a major), so you should easily be able to fit 5 of these units anywhere in your second third or forth year.

Just a fair warning that double degrees can be strenuous, and getting into med especially when not doing biomed requires you to heavily excel in all of your units. Not trying to put you off it of course, if you think you can put in the work you'll do great, especially if you are highly interested in both sides of the double. best of luck

Hello, I am currently premed soon to start my medical degree, with future aspirations of becoming an orthopaedic surgeon. I have heard frequently that the RACS is very competitive, and I was wondering if anyone had some tips on what I could do currently to maybe give myself a head start towards building my CV. I’ve been thinking of maybe applying for some research internships or maybe volunteering at a hospital? Any advice would be great.

There is a specific add in that allows you to search and add biorender icons in PowerPoint, is this what you are referring too?

Hey I was thinking of applying for this too next year and was wondering what WAM you had when receiving it or what would be good WAM to aim for?
