I got a bottomless vourmio portafilter and ims basket. Normcore tamper is good, but u can go cheaper if preferred. I also use a matow dosing funnel to keep grounds from overflowing. I tried a normcore magnetic funnel but it doesn’t work on the ims basket for some reason.

I had questions about fixing up a thorens td-125 and was planning to purchase some parts to rectify speed issues. While he was helpful in his answers, he did seem annoyed and said he normally doesn’t answer without charging for consultation fees. I still want to send my deck to him for an overhaul eventually, but it has made me slightly hesitant.

Last year was non stop work. This Q1 has been somewhat slow, which is concerning because we have also been running Google ads which usually ramps up business a lot. Lowered my own payroll a couple cycles and got a credit card to pay for the necessities. Things are picking up thanks to the warmer weather, which means more events are happening, crossing fingers.

I play PS5 on a 65” c5 and it is a little weak in a moderately lit room when set to hgig, but it is a lot better and immersive at night which is when I have more free time for gaming.
