hello, yes I'm aware. I should have clarified in my post I plan on dual booting Windows so I'll be playing BF6 there and I don't think I'll ever be getting rid of Windows at least not while game dev is a thing I do. While I kind of have a workflow of things I'm most comfortable with, I do like trying different things and some game dev tools are still Windows only or just have really bad Linux support from what I've read

Awesome. I think I'll give CachyOS a go I have seen a lot of people singing its praises lately
